I live in bumfuck nowhere in the Midwest in the middle of cornfields and soybean fields located between a bunch of farms but the upside is we have low population, low traffic, and easy highway access so even when you live out in the middle of nowhere generally you dont have to drive that far and we get there quick. 30 minutes is my personal max. That 10 hour day is really a 12 hour day when you account for waking up, getting ready, packing food and what not and travel. If youre sleeping roughly 8 to 9 hours on average your free time during the 4 work days is almost non existent. The 3 days off wont feel like enough. Leave early, and your overall stress and cortisol levels will be WAY lower than if you cut it close each day. Yeah I'd consider doing that schedule if I'm salary (can get off before 10 hours if my work is done), it's a really good company and the pay is worth it. --- Less is more.
