Star Wars (1983 Arcade Game)

Don't count this as a voting post yet, as I'm stuck on 5.5 KOTOR Shadows of the Empire Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II Battlefront II TIE Fighter/Rogue Squadron I feel like a flight sim should be in, and as good as Rogue Squadron 1 is, TIE Fighter was really important. I already had to cut Galactic Battlegrounds, which I wish I didn't but it just doesn't fit on the list. like, atm, Battlefront II is the one to cut... or Shadows of the Empire. Rogue Squadron 1 is dated but it still plays better and without a doubt has more charm than perhaps any Star Wars game. Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II (tough call between this and Jedi Outcast, but I think DFII is more significant.) Rogue Squadron (I agree that it is better than Rogue Leader) Episode I Racer Honorable Mentions: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Dark Forces Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (the fact that this came out in 2003 and here we are, over two decades later at this point, without any games that have surpassed it in terms of lightsaber combat is pretty astonishing.) TIE Fighter Shadows of the Empire (I considered including this as one of the four, but the true beauty of SotE is as a full multimedia projectnot just the game, but the toys, the novel, and especially (in my opinion) the comic series.) The Old Republic (I think the fact that this carved out its own successful spot in MMOs is worth a mention, and it has had much more success than Galaxies did.) Galactic Battlegrounds Jedi: Fallen Order (I go back and forth with this sometimes. I enjoy it, I even think its very good. Ive currently got it rated just outside the top ten Star Wars video games at #11 overall. But I cant help wondering if some of the hype is for bringing Star Wars back to video games in a successful way after the ST, in one of its most remarkable failures, led to pretty muchnothing on the video game side of things?
