YESTERDAY: Ended up being one of the most predictable days we have ever had, "box art legendaries plus big Pokemon from the anime" was the obvious answer and while very few people actually had that combo of 4, these guys were all over the votes. There was a brief period where Pichu lead Ho-Oh, but I've noticed that as topics go on the weirdos who are regulars in this topic (all the people I have tagged as friends) all have their votes cast and the people I don't recognize as well show up to vote for what is more likely the "correct" answer. I had to throw out a vote for Espeon and a vote for Umbreon because two people did not read the rules. It didn't change the results though. I think it is notable that there was a single vote for Totodile, which prevented that entire line from being snubbed. I don't need you guys to specify which version of Prelude unless someone feels VERY strongly about one version being different enough/elevated enough to specifically be on the Rushmore

mount rushmore isn't always about the best per se
(its the fun though) for me Prelude Victory Theme One-Winged Angel Close in the Distance 2 songs woven throughout the series, probably the most recognizable musical piece from a video game from a 'single' game, and I could probably bang my head for a year trying to choose a favorite FFXIV song but that one is suitably good of the main themes of the game. edit: actually, that's a lie, my favorite ffxiv song is for sure Flow --- Can't we give ourselves one more chance? Final Fantasy Main Theme Prelude One Winged Angel main theme was around in FF1, has skipped a few, but been in the vast majority and with multiple variations, from the 8 bit in FF1 to the 16 bit era with the SNES to the PS1 trilogy to FF15's version with a piano version and a rather somber version in 16, it's the series song. Prelude is the intro to everything and occasionally is played in the game itself. it's no main theme but it's iconic. OWA is pretty much the "FF has gone mainstream" theme. not my personal top 4, hell not my top 10, but it's significance is there. ...unsure of the last one. like there's vocal songs, there's super popular songs from a game (Dancing Mad), super popular songs that made it to multiple games (Battle on the Bridge), and other series running themes (Chocobo) that make me unsure what to put. --- "Maybe it's a tentacle, molesting the planet itself. - Aschen Brodel. ... They're the most immediately recognizable tracks the series has.
