Why would you bet the entire game on your opponent not adding 4+ power into a lane?

I make this bet all the time. You realistically need 3 energy to add 4 power, sometimes 2 energy works.

So if you know they're playing 3+ energy elsewhere, then it's a fair bet that they can't make 4.

Of course, Doom makes sense in every deck too, so you have to win the other lanes by 5+ for it to make sense.

This is why I love Red Skull despite the nerfs. On 6 you can play him to get 10ish power in one lane, AND still drop an Iceman or something to bolster one of your lanes from +3/4 to +5/6. That makes the lane require 4 or even 5 energy to win.

You can probably get what went horribly wrong with their plan.

In the situation I described the other two lanes were not a factor. One was full and one was Luke's bar I was winning by 10.

So my opponent stayed in the game on turn 6 thinking I couldn't put 4 power into 1 lane.

Hm did you have few cards in hand, or was it an unsnapped game?

I started playing a Surfer deck for the first time ever since getting him and Sauron recently. Seems pretty fun so far with the amount of power you're threatening T6. Also first time I've played Jugg or Brood.

IMO if you're playing Sauron you may as well replace Maximus for Typhoid Mary since he'll only ever reach 9 power with Surfer while Mary is 10 power, and you don't hand your opponent two cards either.

Typhoid is 4 though which is wayyyy less flexible. Maximus is pretty much exclusively played on 6 along with Surfer.

Dirtiest move I've ever done. Rogue, Jugg, Surfer T6.

I thought I had prio going into T6, but it turns out he did, so he got the full Wongodin combo. But luckily his Ironheart didn't hit left much.

Honestly I think he is misplaying this deck. Wongodin Ironheart is able to win by itself, Black Panther only gets in the way. You definitely need enough target cards in the other lanes too.

And yeah Surfer decks feel so much better with Sera so look forward to getting her if you like those decks. Getting to play three 3-drops on turn 6 feels a lot better than 2.

Im seeing way too much success with this deck

was really hoping the spiderman nerf would at least make people think high evo control was dead

but they couldnt even do that much and its still every other deck I face

I've had her for a long time but I don't like that archetype. This deck is from Bynx and doesn't use Sera.

One of my favorite combos ever is to drop a Kingpin earlier in the game, use Sera turn 5, then on Turn 6 drop a Juggernaut and Aero in the same lane as the Kingpin that I know they'll be putting their card at, so it knocks it out of that lane, and then Aero drags them back to die.

Just very hard to pull off most times.

Silk comes out tomorrow and I still havent found any info on whether brand new cards immediately enter the Reserve pool or not. Dont think anyone is positive probably because if it can happen its inanely rare >_>

Im already fairly comfortable with the Sera Miracle deck but definitely not the Bounce version since I got Beast so late. Ill probably go with Monkey

Just for reference, I just got Darkhawk on literally the very first reserve of a bucket of 40, so I wont be pulling any Series 4 for awhile. I could be the mythical 78 reserves between Series 4 pulls example

I missed Nebula by 100 tokens. Opened like 6 crates without any more tokens. So wack.

Mathematically Im pretty sure your next one will 100% have some tokens, since youre guaranteed one per group of four boxes

Anyone really high on Silk? I can see a LOT of use cases for her but not for 6k Tokens

Decided to get High Evo because I want to try some gimmicky stuff with him and Shocker/Moon Girl

Using "Embarrassment to My Family" title every time I run it to try and repent

i actually think Silk could be quite good in a couple of archetypes but i'm not totally enthused about dropping 6k tokens on it yet

something like a dazzler zoo deck that ultimately doesn't care where Silk ends up but just loves to pay 2 cost for 5 power

and lockdown control decks with nebula / jeff / storm etc it is an absolute natural fit because it will always end up in the storm lane eventually

Oh silk also probably fits into the miles morales / black bolt / stature deck very well considering its a much more consistent move card than anything else for miles

Stored up Reserves plus new ones from unspent credits got me MODOK, Pixel Craven, Ghost, Cosmo Avatar, Pixel She-Hulk, Aero and Black Panther. Jane was in the free shop so I grabbed her too.

I'll gladly pay 6k for a card I know I'll use often. I think Silk would be that, like Jeff too.

So, Galactus practically needs the Goblins now, or I guess to Wave with priority. And this basically sets up an Electro-Galactus to have his support Shang-Chi'd. This should definitely cut down on him.

I've been using Dazzler in my Ultron deck to good use.

But uh, I'll just use Thing again instead. lol I'll get more out of him now.

Dazzler DOES get more use in a Surfer deck when you got Brood in there.

But. Not really enough to slot in over other 3 cost cards?

Was Dazzler actually doing well enough to be changed? I pretty much never saw her and this means she maxes at a 3/8 instead of a 4/10

It's a buff, but in my specific Patriot-Ultron deck it's a nerf.

But I don't think it's a great buff still.
