Definitely thought the season ended today instead of next week. So maybe I'll be able to get infinite after all but I must say that the current 90-100 stretch is maybe the worst experience I've had with this game so far.

90-100 is super rough.

Yeah I've hit infinite before back in the day but this current meta is really annoying. I don't even like the cardback very much so IDK why I'm bothering.

I wish Ego could only show up as the first revealed location. It's so much more fun when the entire game is Ego Take the Wheel

All the Spider stuff looks great. Pretty huge buffs to Move once you have Silk, Ghost Spider and 2099

i personally don't find move to be a particularly fun archetype to play

only card i'm really interested in out of those is spider ham so happy it's starting in S4

I find Move far more interesting now that I don't feel like I need to use Heimdall for it to be effective.

These move cards have me more interested to try it out, but it does seem extremely easy to shut these sort of decks down.

Conquest mode looks amazing, but also grindy af. When they add a new currency you know it's gonna be a drag.

I want Silk so bad though. Another 2/5 with an effect that can actually be beneficial? Seems OP for sure. But you can def fit her into any deck, not just move. Same with Ghost Spider. Good stats and utility for all 6 turns, similar to Scarlet Witch.

If Spider-Hams ability doesnt target cards that are already turned into a pig it could be pretty good in Bounce decks

Theres no language in the ability to make you think it couldnt just target the same card

Icemans text doesnt say anything about ignoring 6-cost cards. It says maximum 6 but that could also mean that it can still hit a 6 but do nothing to it.

The card text philosophy is to make the most intuitive interpretation the correct one

Does Valkyrie not work on Knull or something? He did not go down to anywhere near 3 power >_>

She works.

But she gives him +3 power.

Ongoing effects are always ongoing unless negated.

Feel like that makes her useless for what otherwise wouldve been a pretty great counter to some strong cards.

Got excited because a season pass cache was a card, but was just Pixel Iron Man. Ill probably save some Collectors Reserves now in the 1:100000 chance I open up Silk or something

She isn't great in the current metagame, but she was good against Shuri for a bit

She can still be good when used to help your own deck (e.g. buffing your own guys or setting them back to 3 for Cerebro). I wouldn't play her as a dedicated hate card, though.

Valkyrie shoukd be 4 cost, even in C3 she's way too hard to justify, she's basically only an "in case you don't draw wincons" option

the point of valkyrie is to play her with your own ongoing cards like ant-man or blue marvel

I lost a game recently where someone played Valkyrie into their Soul stone lane. They only had to commit 3 cards to win the lane because I was at 8 with a full lane and they had 9 with 3 cards.

Soul Stone is kinda backbreaking

I'd assume it's a 1-drop with an Ongoing effect. I can't think of any others besides Ant-man (already included) off the top of my head.

Exactly, the general gameplan is flood the board cheap ongoings then go either the hazmat or spectrum route, or both

Also jumped from 45 to 58 just doing chapter quests. That was nice. I'm hoping to hit 60 this season.

Yeah it's insane, I did not see a single Cosmo or removal of Kamar Taj. It's a very flexible deck, I actually might swap out Ant Man over Quinjet. Partly because I love that skin but partly because there's a LOT of locations now that quintet works with.

Also people note it as a hazmat deck and get overconfident, not expecting the Spectrum.

Also high evo Wasp 100% needs a nerf. Make it -1 to one enemy, or -1 to two other random cards with no enemy limit. 3 power for 0 cost is absurd.

Yeah I've had a few games where I had to play Hazmat on turn 4/5 just to get some value and then my opponent plays Luke Cage and snaps thinking they shut down the whole strategy.

It's so fun to surprise them lol.

Wong 4, mystique and hazmat 5, and they're suddenly sure they have a win.

Also a surprising amount of people who see you hazmat without Luke Cage down and assume they're safe, but absorbing man into Luke Cage on 6 is nasty
