I would have to reevaluate the early d1 interactions for sure to say definitely if he would completely move out of my town pile, but most of my read of igcd came from situations outside of the shot. So would it completely change my view? Unlikely.

No, my vote on IG was because I thought his play was awful. I still think it's awful. If it's fake then it's done seemingly nothing and if it's real I still insist that using your shot so early on D1 with no real info because Corrik said so is a trash tier play. It's unnecessarily risky when he could have held it longer until he had an actual read. Bad town isn't necessarily scum though and if he is town and gets lynched for bad play that doesn't help town win.
Basically I think his play is anti-town but that doesn't mean he's 100% scum. I have other players I feel look way scummier so far

Beginning to believe that I have almost no short term memory as I'm reading posts I made agreeing with IGCD's choice to vote for my previously appointed second in command, Peaf. Its ok, no one is infallible, its ok for me to have started not liking Peaf and now have better confidence in a town status. Moving on.

a lot of back and forth on how to claim JC's claim or when or why or if, etc. Personally, if it exists and it has no other powers and just dies in 3 days, i play it like a vanilla and try to help Town win. Dead Town still win with Town and my flip will reveal that likely Scum didn't kill me, I just died naturally. That is, if i thought the role was real.

How helpful do you think ridiculing IGCD for his decision is to town? This sorta feels like the same thing plum's been doing.

Death your timezone is Europe right? Like central Europe? Either way I'm sure it isn't any of the US timezones.

If the shot doesn't go off, IGCD will be at or near the top of my scum list. You think it would be okay to lie about that type of claim and keep up the act just to try and save yourself from a D1 lynch and say "oopsies" D2?

5tar I agree that I havent given a lot so far. But thats more a combination of work, other stuff and me being unclear about a lot of things on day1 in general.

Even so, I dont know why your question is whether or not I believe IGCDs power.
Or rather, I dont know why you werent happy with my answer if it was in service of understanding my actions for the rest of the day.

Either way, there was no way for me to answer that with a yes or no.

Where are you getting that IGCD was ever that close to being lynched? All of two people ever voted him and both are people who have been harping on the shot's logic.

How was he saving himself from a D1 lynch? There wasn't all that much pressure on anyone at all during this day, much less at the start when he shot to satisfy corrik's whims. If it's a gambit then it's a gambit.

IGCD better hope I dont get dayvig in a future game....

No, but it does impact the impressions I'll get of non-igcd players on a reread!

This is the exact thing that happened a few games ago with Lopen hounding me and SBell riding Lopen's butt like a barnacle.

btw Lopen's Towntell is finding a completely incorrect thing to throw at me. Only games recently where he didn't have an excuse to look my direction were when he died immediately, or when he was Scum. And now we have, if I'm reading this right, "Han felt the need to defend JC to me"... which I'm pretty positive is not a thing that happened?

SBell has been bouncing off of it buddying up to Lopen, as well as tossing weak shade towards me. So SBell is probably Scum here.

I've come around on Plum's claim - figure if he saw Johnny whoever on the safelist, he could come in and claim Miller but not Miller, and as soon as he got counterclaimed he sort of simmered down on that.

I'm standing by feeling JC is Town. I don't think his play makes the most sense and that sort of thing comes from Town.

Feeling good about Peaf and Dumey. Peaf especially is leading in a less-funny Lea way, feels like complete thoughts. Dumey when he posts feels genuine to me too, like he's using actual logic.

Sultan just feels more like his Town self. He did have a recent Scumgame (iirc) where he was playing better, but I'd wager Town here.

Ulti has IGCD's Towntell wrong too - Town IGCD is obnoxious and you want to lynch him. Logical and polite IGCD is Scum. I don't particularly want to lynch IGCD at the moment, but he has been pushing around Plum with joke claimed-shots so...

Also, yeah, don't believe Plum's anger. Shooting day 1 as vig is a-ok.

I've not been able to fully engage with the game, so take a lot of this with some salt.

That being said, I only remember one post chang made, and haven't really processed anything Hb or 5tar have done to memory. They're about the same as Red to me right now, so I would ask if anyone is pushing those to explain their thoughts to me.

I have trouble buying that one. I started early with distain towards Sultan because of how he was handling things but, fuck, wait, it was Ulti's attack that pulled me off of Sultan. no... reading through sultan as a whole i still feel better about him being town. Especially with other nonchalant attacks from people like Han that just sorta fizzled away, i feel safe in Sultan.

Seems scummy to me like I said, I'm not planning on voting you on the chance that the shot is legit and it resolves itself but you are currently in my scum pile.

I'm speaking generally, not in specifics. It's hard to give specifics because most of IGCD's interactions have been specifically about the claim! But beyond that, I think the only reason a lot of people are giving him a pass while going after other low activity players is because they already have the claim information to sit on.

I think if the shot doesn't go off and you're NOT looking at him tomorrow, you're crazy. Just the implications of why someone would make that claim does not look good.

Granted, now that we know IGCD is a results oriented thinker, maybe he could come up with some crazy gambit and think all we be well if it ends well. But for a normal player, him keeping up the lie on that is a crazy thing to consider! I'm not sure how anyone could just shrug it off.
