It's because you claimed it in a weird way that made multiple people think that. I see now that you more specifically said you weren't any faction mentioned in the OP, but the way you freaked out about how everyone was going to be pissed by the OP at the end of the game made it seem like you were also a non-Xenoblade role like Plum had claimed.

My reasoning is that you seem to be very willing to throw out suspicion on people despite the fact that you clearly aren't really reading the game. It comes across more as you're getting your information second hand from somewhere else instead of here.

Eh i chalk it up to playing too much slay the spire and that one act 1 event thing i think, but also because i think ben is a little bit crazy and creative.

So both players on me are players who botched their claims in really silly ways, one of which spent chang's time in digging it up (please note that chang has done basically nothing else except aggregate jc's posts! Major red flag.)

I don't think I've thrown out much suspicion at all actually. Just JC, and a comment about your interaction with Plum. It seems odd to say I'm not reading the game, then try to attribute something to me that I haven't done.

Agreed with Chang. I think Lopen is town. He responded to me pretty much exactly like I'd expect his town self to react.

I think Justin is town. His claim makes no sense as scum. If he had a scum power role, he wouldn't claim "I die on day four". He'd just claim something busted to get some shot off tonight before dying tomorrow.

I think Peaf is town. Gut.

So that's Sultan, Death, Peaf, Lopen, Justin, and Plum all on the town list.

Fwiw this was extremely clear from t1p1 and if we presume that igcd is town for a moment, there's a high probability that all this confusion about igcd's flavor has come from scum who haven't felt compelled to read closely.

Note to the editor that i don't believe in that scenario at this moment, but it could be useful in the event i am incorrect.

I don't really evaluate lopen's claim and don't understand lumping the two players together in this way. Lopen's play and plum's play have both been very different, and the former feels to me like it's coming from a more town source. Lopen's claim is whatever.

Applying pressure to Peaf at this junction is probably unnecessary; it's not like he's not interacting and doing things while he's here.

Lopen gave his Towntell.

And yeah, I'm on the JC is probably Town train here. What JC has said and done mostly doesn't make sense, and when someone doesn't make sense, they're usually Town.

IGCD, JC, why Peaf? What made you think he's Scummy or that pressure is worthwhile on him?

I don't have the experience with Lopen as a player to know any given "town tell" of his. But I do know he claimed to scan scum in the first topic, and everyone seemed to either forget this or disregard it entirely. I don't necessarily think he is scum at the moment, but he came in and fired off a lot of shots (a good thing to generate Day 1 conversation), and I feel a little cautious about following a lynch that the one person we know will scan as scum is leading. That's why I'm hesitant about the Ulti accusations and asked for clarification from SBell, but apparently he walked away right before I asked.

When it comes to two "miller" claims, it just seems odd that no one really gave any consideration to it at all past the first page. We talked about you (Peaf) latching on to other players earlier. It seemed like you were very willing to throw your lot in with Lopen, so I was just wondering if Miller gives you any pause at all.

I think JC is likely town from the claim. I think we are definitely missing information regarding his role, either from him or the rest of the setup.

You talked about me latching on to other players when it has not happened so there's that.

You denied me, and my alignment to lopen was by virtue of the reads that i had at that time.

I'm starting to buy jc. I still despise how he played the role and i wish he would get clarification, but that's just how it goes.

I think it's general mafia strategy that people that are known to scan scum should be treated with an extra layer of scrutiny.

What did you think about it. You are just asking what other people have thought about it. Do you have any thoughts about it other than me claiming to scan as scum being basic mafia scrutiny or whatever.

Not terribly, no. It'll sort itself out.

If he starts acting scummy then I'll hold it against him at that point in time.

Sure. I think it is dangerous to let the miller lead the conversation and soft decide who the lynch will be between. If you're scum and you've cast a wide net on multiple town targets, then it becomes hard to lynch anyone else by day's end. The strong suggestions you laid out before were Plum, who I feel is town, Ulti, who I'm neutral on but definitely don't think reads as scum like you and SBell have said, JC, who was admittedly a good choice until his claim, where everyone but you seemed to back off of, and Red who was purely a special RL target.

I think if I were on board with your Ulti suspicion, and/or you hadn't claimed Miller, I would be fully on the Lopen train. But those are the things that are giving me pause at the moment.
