nothing happens. You just cant draw anymore cards because there arent any left in your deck

Yondu really is my MVP at this point, as far as value per cost goes.

Its really great that they show you which cards hes killing. That would probably be the best way to nerf him, to hide that info.

Dont have Scorpion yet, but Ive had him used against me and yeah hes awful to see.

What levels are you all playing at? My peak is 37

I hit infinite one month when I was in pool 2 but now I'm hovering around 60ish

I'm hovering around rank 40.

I really love my Move deck. Vulture gets stupid high power when you toss him around between Iron Fist, Cloak, Doctor Strange, and Heimdall.

I just trolled someone hard on a board with Bar with No Name. I kept putting cards on it and moving them off, ending the game with a tie there despite the spot never being empty.

Kraven is super nasty in a move deck when theres a location that moves both players cards.

Got into pool 3, my first card was Doctor Octopus. Seems kinda situational, but I did use him once and it went well at Shuris Lab. It only doubles a cards power if you play it there, so the cards getting pulled didnt double, while Ocks 10 became 20. I got Green Goblin next who is definitely more useful than Hobgoblin. Got a couple more that I already forgot, I dont think they were of interest to any of the decks I like to use.

I am kinda fed up with Magneto now.

Every time Ive seen him used, the on-reveal lost them the game when they wouldve otherwise won

I wish I was as fortunate. It's never failed to screw me.

Nerf his 12 power he gets from it and I'll be satisfied.

I was never very upset with Magneto but there was a period where I was sick of seeing Leader. If you're losing on turn 6 then opponent playing Leader is basically an auto win.

Im about to start playing again, just wanted all the season missions to pile up so I could do them all at the same time

Scorpion seems stupid valuable for the cost. But I guess he hasn't really made a difference to my games yet.

Yondu seems good for Luke's Bar but otherwise is kinda bad, even if you double his effect, because you're never going to draw your full deck anyways. The information you get from the discard is ok. But the Mantis info is way stronger since it's secret.

This one was nuts. I was ready to lose but wanted to gamble. The left lane was originally Luke's Bar and I had a Leader from the Raft. I threw him down on the left just in case I got lucky (and I figure cards copied by his effect don't activate Luke's Bar?)

The opponent slammed 4 cards down there - Scarlet Witch, a 1-cost, Carnage, and his Raft Thanos (we tied on it). So my Leader copied his Carnage and Thanos and THEN Carnage ate my Leader to give me the +2 edge.

Just hit 45 today. Been climbing steadily but I've gone back and forth between 43-45. I also hit some snags around 35-37 but for some reason 37-43 was no problem.

My deck style is not really anything specific which I think has been helping me. It just goes for raw power, since you just need 1 more power than the enemy to win the game. I still use Hulk for that reason. Though I'm increasingly playing 2 or more cards turn 6 instead of using him, so I might retire him soon.

I also have a good amount of steal/copy cards so I can match their gimmicks, then one-up with my power cards.

But a lot of these gimmick and combo decks rely on overly complicated effects so they can't reasonably calculate the numbers and end up losing. I just had a guy play Heimdall and totally destroy his board, though he did end up with like 5 Multiple Man's. I did the math and I would've won even if I didn't play anything round 6. Don't play that shit if you can't count.

Hit rank 80 playing Spectrum Destroyer, went ahead and bought the season pass to hit CL 1000 since the patch is supposedly hitting on monday or tuesday next week, plus black panther isn't too bad a card. i'm mostly just excited to finally be able to get mystique, debrii, lockjaw, and wave with the collector tokens.

and I immediately got the "Absolute Garbage" title in my first post-1000 "collector's reserve". not a bad get.

I also passed 1k collector level today!

And my first fancy reserve was... 20 Ronan boosters.

Just had a game where the opponent had a 12 Apocalypse that I saw them discard, and playing it at Sinister London would give them a 50/50 on beating me depending on where the copy went. Instead they played Nightcrawler and lost??

I've seen some discard decks that seem pretty strong, I might try that since they synergize with high power cards like Sword Master

Ok fuck random building in the event. Just spent like 100 vibranium only to finally succeed and craft something I already had.

If I had just spent the 80 I would be done.

But I really should've quad buffed him to give me some extra buffer. If I played him in the middle I would've lost, but with the 4th buff I would've won. Still, playing on right was pretty safe since I knew they were all 1-costs.

your opponent shouldve done Nightcrawler at Sinister -> move 1 and place Kazarr -> move the other night crawlers and place Onslaught

wouldve destroyed you

See that's a good example of a combo that requires too much math to be feasible for the players who are actually playing these decks

The downside to trying to get tricky on Bar Sinister is if a Hobgoblin pops up.

Unfortunately for this guy, I had Killmonger in the pocket and he didnt have the numbers, lol.

He even spammed Thanos emote and Snap? When he played it.

I spammed Ms Marvel when I won.

Nightcrawler avoids that since his copies can clog up your Bar Sinister until turn 6.

Also I've played a handful of rounds with my discard deck and I hate it. The draw order dependencies are massive, and that compounds with the randomness or the discard selection. It leans more into the snap element I guess. Snap when you get lucky 25% of the time, retreat otherwise. That's too boring though. I prefer to have a good chance every match.

Movement decks are so fun. I love flip flopping the board all game leaving my opponent trying to guess where everything is going to end up.

It is fun, but in the same way that Armor locks down a location so things cant be destroyed, there should be a card that stops cards from moving to it.

Also Kingpin destroys cards that move to his location on turn 6. So if you Heimdall into his lane then he's killin everything.

Yea, he is a better counter to movement decks than Armor is to destroy decks.

Location 1: Sinister London
Location 2: The Peak

Opponent plays a now 0/5 Hobgoblin on Sinister London, sending my board two 5-power cards for free

Then retreats

I have played 0/5 Hobgoblin on Bar With No Name to win. Pretty amazing luck that they both flipped.

I know the Hot Location and any New Location have an increased chance of appearing, but do they alter the chances of others or make certain pools of locations more or less likely to appear? I got the Kyln literally 5 times this morning alongside Bifrost, making those move decks even more powerful

Unless I have fully baited them into playing the right side there is a pretty good chance I'm not playing Heimdall turn 6.

I decided to create an Anti Move deck to deal with this location.

I've run into move decks 2 times in my last 10 games and I lost to both. I thought I had a good counter deck but maybe not!

Not sure how to beat these decks right now.

One that you might have overlooked is Kraven, he gets buffed from movement on either side of his location so it may discourage them from moving there
