Here's the deck I was trying. Spiderman might be overkill and Aero was just in case they weren't playing move so I'd have a kingpin trigger

Polaris - Seems kinda cool but she's never quite been useful. Juggernaut seems way better at being disruptive.

Mister Negative - So I tried running the Jane Foster + Mr Negative gimmick. It doesn't seem great. Like I have Iron Man + Mystique and Iron Heart and Morph and thats great but what if I draw them and what if I don't draw Mr Negative. I think I need like Psylocke or Adam Warlock or both to get more Mr Negative draws. Also if I play Mighty Thor after Mr Negative opponent just retreats so I don't get full cubes when the combo works.

Destroyer - This guy seems very fun, but haven't really used him much yet. I already use Charles and Hobgoblin in a few decks so he'd be a natural fit for those types-- just fill lower drops with Wolverine and Colossus and Armor.

Kingpin - Extremely funny to drop with Juggernaut turn 6. Double big boy control. Otherwise kinda silly. Maybe if I get Magneto. Or Aero. Polaris I can't see mattering.

Yeah I was waiting for Psylocke before I play Mr. Negative again. I kinda want to give it a serious go at it since the one time I got him I got the +5 energy location and the rest of the game was just a steamroll.

One of the popular Mr Negative decks back before he was nerfed used Lockjaw as well. I never really liked Jane in the deck for the reasons you mentioned. I would run:

Iron Man
Mystique
Arnim Zola
Devil Dinosaur

You could also run Black Panther as a 2/8 if you have him.

You really only need to hit like 1 or 2 of those 5 with Negative to have a big turn 6. Negative Iron Man into Zola on an empty lane adding 10 power and doubling your other two lanes is massive.

Just went against the first ever competent Heimdall player and lost 8 cubes :(

supposedly you can not update to the new patch and play against other non-updated players and bots for a short time before it force updates you, so you might be able to generate enough credits in that time

Man Okoye is so good. Turns 3, 4, 5, and 6 are just so comfortable with that extra edge. I just had a great round where White Queen and Sentinel defeated a solo Namor because of the extra +1 each.

Finally worked out of the 30s and into the 40s. Lets see if it gets harder

I like that Hawkeyes effect field stays where he was if he gets moved right after hes revealed.

Rank 48 now. My main power deck is sooo much nicer than the discard deck I tried. Combo players must be miserable in this game.

Another thing I noticed is that Ongoing effects stay on the old location until the turn after a move. I had an Ebony Maw and moved him on turn 3, but I still was not able to play a card there until turn 4. I kinda hope they fix that, since there is a clear order to card plays within a round, so it would be fair & logical.

They can by definition only win 2 locations. If they use someone like Multiple Man they can cover all 3, but he's very weak so he clogs the board, so you can still stack 2 locations to win.

The trick is you need to keep your options open until turns 5/6, then make a decisive win in the locations. Klaw and Gamora are good for that. I've had success with Hulk turn 6 but Spectrum seems good too if you have a lot of ongoing lower cards.

I mean the problem isn't with move decks completely, just when that location was featured. It makes their decks way more consistent and powerful. They can easily win 3 lanes with Bifrost featured.

I haven't really seen it yet. Vulture and Kraven are good for multiple moves but they have to be lucky to get them out early. Multiple Man is bad since he clogs up the board, but literally everyone still plays him in a move deck.

If you're really annoyed you can use Scarlet Witch or Storm I guess.

Well it's not featured anymore so not really a big deal now. Multiple Man with Hulkbuster is good enough for move decks.

I think you're underestimating a Multiple Man (or 2) sticking around on Heimdall's lane at the end. Just 1 buffed MM with Heimdall is 15 which is a lot of power for a lane they're not even really trying to win.

Move was my main deck for a while and it got me to infinite when I first started playing so I'm pretty familiar with the deck! But it also used Nakia back then when she buffed your entire hand and that nerf hurt the deck quite a bit.

It's a great combo I'm sure, I just haven't seen it in my last like 10 matches vs Multiple Man. Again, could be competency of players. But too many bad players play this deck.

That's true, but even so a Klaw on middle + Hulk on right will win. Or for a pure turn 6, Gamora since you know he'll play there, plus another 2-3 power with whatever 1-cost you had left over in your hand. It's ok if you need a strong 6-cost to counter their absolute best combo, which also requires a 6. They have to work really hard to get it, while you just need a regular draw.

I stole an opponent's Destroyer with Cable that got a power boost from Okoye, and then I dropped Green Goblin and Hobgoblin in their one location to leave them full with -2. And then I dropped a Destroyer in their other full lane to destroy everything on my end and with with one lane 15 to 12 and 0 to -2.

This was with my CHAOS deck which is fun in its own goofy way, but it kinda makes me want to run something with Destroyer and the Goblins now.

Got up to 1004 ranking by using my stored up gold on some mission refreshes and credits. Got some cards too.

Nick Fury - This guy is hilarious. I don't know what the actual combo is here. Like there is probably some goofball thing to do with Hela. I want to use him in any case it's just a fun ability and I love the quotes when my sound is on. Good pick.

Psylocke - Oh neat! Always liked Psylocke and she can enable a lot of decks (and would be good to give my Negative deck another shake). Need to find a good variant though not a fan of this art.

Loaded the cloning vats up and had like 3 Nova and 2 Deadpool, meanwhile my opponent loaded it with Iceman and Yondu. Then turn 4 I played Killmonger, all the Novas go off and increase the Deadpools, then double the Deadpools, then destroys all his yondus and Icemans, which was basically his entire side

He retreated at the start of turn 5

For the record my turn 5 plan was to play 2 deadpools and dethlock to have two 20+ deadpools going into turn 6

Eziest snap into retreat of my life

On the most annoying streak of my life.

My deck has five 1-2 power cards, and four games in a row I havent drawn one of them until turn 3, and one of the matches TVA flipped as the third location, leaving me with a two turn game lol.

Man, if I can't play cards in the first two rounds, I just retreat.

No use playing from such a disadvantage with that bad luck.

Everytime that happens I'm just like THATS IT QUICKSILVER IS THE ONLY 1 COST I NEED but honestly it seems kinda rare. The value of having actually good 1 costs probably outweighs that....

As someone who plays a lot of low cost cards, the thing that improved my game the most is not feeling like I HAVE to play something just to play it.

The more info you just absorb before playing anything, like location reveals and opponent playstyle in the first couple turns, the better off youll be. Obviously there are locations that supersede this strategy.

Decided to bite the bullet and buy the season pass since I had $11 in free Google bucks anyway and I'm so glad I did because look at this good boy

I played Quicksilver for a really long time and he was nice. But then I got Iceman and some other strong 1s so he became less worth it.

Something to keep in mind is that throughout the whole game you get 21 energy. So if you miss your first 2 rounds entirely, that's only 3 of 21 energy lost. Still very winnable.

Not a bad idea to retreat though, to save time on an unfun match more than anything.

Just hit the ol' 50. This game definitely gets WAY more fun when you go against better players who are trying hard and you still eek out a win.

Also just got Cloak, him plus Ebony Maw seems super strong. 11 power with 3 energy and almost no downside.

Ebony Maw is huge in my move deck.

Unfortunately for Cloak I just got Scorpion right after so I'm gonna try him instead. Plus Okoye should be really annoying.

I've been hovering around 62 this season and I don't think there's much of a chance to hit 70 for me. Can't seem to find a deck that's working well for me lately.

I've been getting rekt a bit at 51. Less gimmicks, just strong players.

Does that work (Hobgoblin) at Lukes Bar? I figured it still returned to your hand since its still directly played.

I did learn about one way to force a played card to stay though: if your hand is already full it cant get kicked out, so anything that adds a card to your hand on reveal can be forced to stay

This is also a pretty good Movement board + play; I couldnt tell where anything on their side would be at any given moment

Gotta say a deck with Iceman, Scorpion, Armor, Green Goblin, and Cosmo can win you a lot of early retreats even if the rest of your hand is shit

They cut power from Sera, Destroyer, Angela, and Mysterio, and made it so Onslaught doublings are additive rather than exponential. So a crazy Onslaught combo is still gonna be good, but not make your Ironheart activate 256 times or whatever

for some of those cards the nerf might help them for Mister Negative decks though

What'd they do to Angela, and did it break her? She's really good, but not THAT good when you consider the investment it takes on one location.
