Would you believe that Omega Red is one of the first cards I want from the token shop LOL. I love freaking Omega Red I'm going to make him work.

My first card was Falcon who I would not be disappointed to get from a random draw but don't really care enough to get with tokens.

What'd they do to Angela, and did it break her? She's really good, but not THAT good when you consider the investment it takes on one location.

She's a 2/0 now. No change to her gains per card played.

Angela fix was the right one. She was too good before because she was completely fine if you played just one card at the location. Now you kind of need to play two for her to be decent. Which is important because it makes you actually invest in her. She's still really good if you play three (or 4+ hi Nightcrawler) cards in her location.

I kind of expected more changes to be made to existing cards.

I'm a bit confused why they thought Mysterio of all cards needed a nerf. Like yes he's still usable but I didn't think he was overpowered to begin with. Those two illusions can be a bit of a nuisance for clogging the board up.

Yeah, I don't think I'll use Mysterio in my decks now after that nerf. That 1 less power hurts.

mysterio is quite good in my patriot deck, otherwise kind of underwhelming

They say there were enough situations where the illusions were actually useful that they felt they needed to lower his power. I know the times I've gotten it through random card draws I've used them to my advantage more than once!

I'd rather them put the five back and give the give the illusions and ongoing where their power can't be increased or something. I'm just worried that the four won't actually be able to swing lanes were an opponent is guessing wrong as well as a five can.

a heads up that if you were hoarding caches/reserves for the update, shit seems bugged right now so don't open them

You can buy it with gold and the gold exchange rate is about what you get for credits packs

I didn't realize but yeah with that in mind it's not bad. I'll definitely be holding gold harder from now on just in case I end up liking one of those bundles.

Yeah the bundle is basically "convert $100 worth of gold into credits and get some minor bonuses as well"

They advertise Apoc like he's what you're buying but you're really spending 7500 gold for 9500 credits so you can level up fast.

So my entire team got wiped by a Wong, Mystique, Onslaught, and Gambit combo.

Absolutely fuck that to death how have they not done anything about how strong the Onslaught/Wong combo is?

I guess this is meant to go in a lockjaw deck? But I don't even have lockjaw yet, so i'm certainly not spending 3000 tokens on a niche card for that deck

The 3 new cards all seem crazy strong

Every time I fiddle with a deck to change things up or create a new one, I always forget to switch which deck Im playing so Im stuck playing a round with the same deck I just got tired of. Anyone else?

I do that every time as well. Fortunately, I've only made like 3-4 decks.

Got that too, plus movement and one that is based around highest power cards

First few cards I grabbed from shop were Titania and Absorbing Man which just seem like solid additions to a lot of decks.

Titania is nuts if your opponent ever plays 3 cards on a lane then you can stick Titania into the 4th slot on their side of the board. Then on turn 6 you play a card there to swap her back and get an extra 5 power while your opponent has been locked to 3 cards all game.

Absorbing Man I'm having a little more trouble working into decks but I'm sure there's a combo I'm missing. Even if he's only copying Ironheart it's really not the worst option. Odin at the end of the game activates both Ironhearts again.

3: Ironheart
4: Absorbing
5: Wong
6: Odin

Looks like a pretty decent curve if you can stick a few things on Turns 1/2. Or flooding the board on turn 5 would work too instead of Wong.

i have titania in my shop but not sure i want to buy her when there's so many pool 3 cards i need. and i'd rather have she-hulk from pool 4

I finally found a use for Ultron.

Ultron + Patriot + Kazar can get pretty ridiculous when the rest of your deck is built around Patriot/Kazar shenanigans.

Yeah She-Hulk is the other pool 4 I'm looking for since I got 12k tokens for being CL 3000.

I'll probably start saving after that, not sure any other cards were jumping out to me. Series 5 cards are fun but maybe a little too gimmicky except Valkyrie.

Had a guy running that setup, got the location that plays a card from your hand. It played Ultron for him and I thought he was toast. He played everything very well only for me to beat him last turn with a Killmonger I had started with in my hand.

Yesss one of my favorite combos is

2: Invisible Woman
3: Patriot in that lane
4: Mystique in same lane
5: whatever
6: Ultron

Mystique still copies Patriot because of the way IW reveals cards at the end of the game so surprise 20 power on the other two lanes. Cosmo is an easy counter though.

Also the reason you're playing IW is so that if they play an Enchantress it doesn't kill your Patriot combo. Enchantress only removes IW ability but not the cards she's hiding.

I'm liking this combo right now, but Ultron last turn swooping in to win a bunch of lanes is really fun.

My card in the shop right now is Thanos which costs 6000

Who knows how long it'll take to get that many tokens

For what it's worth I just spent 5000 credits on CL and got 1100 collector tokens.

Also Coulson is probably not very good, even in a dedicated deck.

I don't even know how you make a dedicated Coulson deck considering he just throws random cards in your hand.

You use the Collector? Well sure I guess.

I think the idea is to synergize with Quinjet but it still sounds like a bad deck

This is a deck I can get behind

there's gotta be a better option than White Tiger though. The token benefits from Patriot but the original White Tiger is just taking up a spot with 1 power that a drone or a squirrel could be sitting in. NOT good

Debrii gives you 2 tokens and clutters your opponent's board too. Also Storm to shut down a lane early and fill it with Ultron bots later.

Oh, I wonder if Valkyrie would be good - setting any existing tokens to 3 power - likely a bump up for a lot of things you'd have on the field - then they still get Kazar and patriot's buff on top. Plus potentially nerfing enemy cards.

Too bad it wouldn't affect Ultron's drones.

Or maybe Hobgoblin? You are happy to have an empty space to fill with drones so having a card that disappears from your side would have lots of value.

Any reason for no Blue Marvel? too many buffers and not being sure you'll get Ultron for the last turn?

You guys are having awesome ideas right now and I love them.

I went with White Tiger because her tiger can get buffed by Patriot but I was looking to replace her.

I keep Wasp right now just so I can squeeze her into any last spots if Ultron doesn't fill his location at the end.

I like the idea of Debrii being super obnoxious though, or Blue Marvel being even more absurd with buffs. Or Storm, or even Hobgoblin for maximum obnoxiousness.

Yeah, she's new and probably far from being obtainable since she's 485+ collection level.

On Reveal: Set ALL cards at this location to 3 Power.

I'm assuming ongoing buffs would still apply on top of the new 3 power cards are set at. Downside is this gets played on turn 5 before Ultron bots go down so they won't benefit from it.

Sure they only have 6 power in the Galactus lane but that's 15-18 with Chavez or Hulk and I'm locked out on turn 6.

I'm having some luck with the Disrupt deck I made. Cards like Iceman, Scorpion, Cosmo, Enchantress. Basically try to annoy people to death.
