I was pretty high level & while I could deal with the cockroach things (they have very low stamina, so go into critical pretty fast) the boss was really tough. Had to leave my souls there. Stupidly wandered into it as well, since there is not a fog gate to the boss, but rather an erm, actual gate. Found this weird statue that lights a beacon pointing to the entrance of this cave or something. It was a pretty small dungeon with one enemy type, some traps, and a boss, but it was fun. Being a caster is pretty dope. Spells do decent damage but I'm a bit of a glass cannon. My build and weapons were really coming together at that point, so I was causing massive damage to the enemies and bosses & was tanky enough to take a few hits, also being a confessor I had access to magical barrier, so could shrug off a lot of magic damage. I felt tailor made to counter that section. Even second attempted the moon witch. Then, feely cocky I entered Mt Gilmor & had an embarrassing death to a surprisingly tanky & damaging zombie dog, then got exploded off a cliff to the abyss by one of the exploding raven enemies, so easy come easy go I guess. --- <('.'<) <(^.^)> (>'.')> Splendiferous <cite>DragonClaw01 posted [p:963034579] in Elden Ring... Oftentimes you do a dungeon and get a reward that is utterly useless, like a base weapon that you won't bother with because yours is already fully upgraded or a spell you won't use.
