It's sad that I'm at a point where I'm genuinely rooting for Miesha to win because Todrick obviously sucks, but I also don't want to see Cynthia rewarded for bumble-fucking her way to success after how nasty she behaved during the Shanna episode.

The last winner I would have been genuinely happy with was Lamar. Out of the final three my preference is Cynthia > the show being abruptly cancelled > Miesha > Todrick, but a Cynthia win would still feel icky for the reasons you mentioned.

That being said, should the unthinkable happen and Cynthia wins the final HoH, I hope she takes Miesha, even though she probably has a better chance of beating Todrick, because I really REALLY don't want to take the chance of Todrick winning somehow.

Miesha is like Shannon or Christmas who are overly competitive to the point where they feel like they deserve to get their way all the time and the second they don't they throw a fucking temper tantrum.

Honestly, seeing teams actually struggle and get pushed to their breaking point is a lot more entertaining than watching three competent teams competently succeed at all tasks while Akbar & Sheri/Lulu & Lala/Arun & Natalia struggle to keep their heads above water. The tasks might've sucked, but they brought out some fun personality moments.

Yeah tonight's episode was the best in quite a while and probably the first time since like episode 4 that I actually had positive feelings toward Ryan & Dusty.

I can compare this to the gamebotiness on Survivor. It's not fun to watch nearly every player on Survivor be the same analytical, strategic, wooden, soulless individual. It's a lot more fun to watch people from different backgrounds yell at each other while someone else just sits back and cries.

TAR is the same sort of thing. It's not fun to watch the physically stronger teams beast their way through tasks. I'm bummed that Caro & Ray didn't get to race together for long because watching them learn each other's boundaries and weaknesses would have been fascinating. Akbar & Sheri and Arun & Natalia were/are frustratingly incompetent, but at least that elicits an emotional reaction, unlike the same three teams finishing on top.

Part of why I'm bored with reality TV is because of the change in direction editing-wise. We don't get the compelling personal moments or the conflict that we once did. We get redundant episodes that are indistinguishable from each other.

I think this season in particular was hurt by the blip both eliminating teams with potential for conflict, and forcing the producers to dumb down the course/tasks. There's only so much drama you can elicit when every task is in the safety and security of western Europe.

Eh, the delay helped keep Akbar & Sheri around a lot longer than they would've been, and Caro & Ray were the only ones who didn't come back that had a big potential for conflict (maybe Connie & Sam, but the other two teams likely weren't, and Taylor & Isaiah weren't going to stick around much longer anyway).

You never know. Some teams take a couple legs to really blossom. The first few legs, with ten or eleven teams to juggle, are hard for middle-of-the-road teams to get quality screentime. Kaylynn & Haley were one of the blandest teams last season, but once the field thinned out a bit, they skyrocketed to greater heights.

....I guess? There was literally only two challenges, rock-flipping and a detour the teams all breezed through. I know covid ties their hands on what they can do but kind of expect more??? Also felt zero tension since I knew it'd be NEL since I knew it was a 2-hr finale next week so I guess I braced myself for what was ultimately filler.

But Raquel's been my #1 (and I guess Cayla by association) so, good episode I guess

bbcan9 cast a kyle moore, but someone on twitter said they were bullied by him and he was cancelled and removed from the cast before the season started. people found kyle moore on twitter and started saying mean things to him, but turns out that kyle moore was a different non-bully kyle moore who looked like him but knew nothing about big brother, but laughed about the whole ordeal. people really like him, he was a mental health podcaster, and he started playing games with RHAP and became a part of the community and now he's been cast in BBCAN10
