Eh, the delay helped keep Akbar & Sheri around a lot longer than they would've been, and Caro & Ray were the only ones who didn't come back that had a big potential for conflict (maybe Connie & Sam, but the other two teams likely weren't, and Taylor & Isaiah weren't going to stick around much longer anyway). You never know. Some teams take a couple legs to really blossom. The first few legs, with ten or eleven teams to juggle, are hard for middle-of-the-road teams to get quality screentime.
