But it held its lead, and 12 hours in Terra was still ahead 13-11. I started to believe the upset might actually happen! ...Then Extreme got ten consecutive votes, and that was that. Oh well! If these past two rounds are anything to go by, Extreme comes back very hard as the day goes on, so that's something to watch out for with Big Bridge. Terra still put on a decent show, but in the end it got the exact percentage Sunleth did. Hmm, who would win that matchup... With the first semi now locked in, the major antagonist boss themes are 2/2. Will Exdeath and Seymour complete the set? --- Slowly becoming a Final Fantasy aficionado. Are there are other epic battle themes from XIV that didn't make their way into this contest that I should be looking up? The first 15 votes alternated between each track, Decisive would go up 1 then Speed would immediately get a vote to counter it. Eventually Decisive picked up a lead of a few votes, which was enough to hold off any comeback attempt. I've seen a few of those you listed show up as recommendations on youtube, some I briefly checked out (e.g. Insatiable couldn't compare to Insanity for me) but yeah, I'll look into them. Less worried about "J-Rock warnings" and more worried about "bizarre unsettling What Angel / Ink warnings" tbh... WhiteLens: thank you for recos, I had listened to Heroes before (as part of my final XIV boss theme playlist) but I once again had it running on repeat yesterday, dethroning (temporarily?) Invincible. Great sound, but the downside for me is I like my seamless extended loops I cannot find one for it despite all my searching... maybe it never existed or maybe it got taken down (the Ultima loop disappeared a week or two back). And then the worst part is there is a loop for "Heroes Never Die", bah! But at least it's 10 minutes long. Inverting the trends of the past couple of rounds, The Extreme got off to an amazing start and Bridge was left 7 votes behind. But while in the quarters it was The Extreme that got a 10-in-a-row stretch to take the lead, today Big Bridge got on a run of 11 consecutive votes to go ahead by 4! But it wasn't over there, Extreme still had more saved in the tank to take things to a 21-21 tie with two hours to go.
