Wendell Carter Jr got the most ridiculous fine. Went up for a dunk, got hit that so hard in the face that it broke his protective goggles and yet the ref still called no foul. He then threw his goggles on the floor near the ref and got ejected and a $35k fine for it.
I hate players being punished for the refs being incompetent. There was physical evidence of the foul being missed. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Today Wes Iwundu got upset and called me out because I asked the question of if the 2018-19 Magic team would have gone further if they had Franz Wagner and Cole Anthony on that team (They wouldn't as a 7 seed, they may have as a 4-6). I pointed out who the backup PG and SF was that season (Jerian Grant and Wes Iwundu) since I didn't think people would remember.
Iwundu got his panties in a twist about it and complained about people involving him in 'BS takes' I even followed up the initial statement (before Iwundu got involved) by saying I loved Iwundu for the Magic. I did not think it was a particularly hot/bs take to suggest that a high lottery rookie who is playing lights out would have been an improvement over a backend rotation guy who is out of the league. ... Through 25 games this pistons team is statistically the worst in franchise history beating out the 1979-80 and 1993-94 Pistons Yet somehow still not as bad as this years Magic team.
