A Masterpiece Starscream v2.0 figure for $275.
It looks extremely accurate to the show but it has a tolerance issue with one of the wings when you transform it. So when my copy is in robot mode the left wing is mistransformed.
For a figure this expensive it shouldn't have that issue.

Yes. It has a steel frame and is really sturdy. Should last a long time too. I use it on my days off to get some exercise and make quick runs to the corner store.

A schecter stiletto stealth 4. I really liked the look of it and it reminded me a lot of the feel of my old Ibanez headless from way back. It had a ding on it so Guitar Center gave me $75 off. Couldn't resist that deal:

It cost me a bit more than $400 IIRC after taxes, but they list it at $500 in most places I checked just now. It was KIND OF a stupid buy, as I haven't been in an actual band since 1998 and don't have a lot of time to play it with ALL MY SMALL CHILDREN RUNNING ABOUT (Plus I already own 4 basses as is).

I was able to record a bit with it a few months ago, so it's not a total waste.

The countdown will always start out saying more than one hour like mine did on Tuesday and just kept dropping until it let me into the store. good luck, dawg. I was raging over this shit for 6 months and finally lucked out this week.

I've also invested $2000+ this year on various crypto tokens.

In a single purchase, and not counting regular bills and such? If we also ignore vet bills (there's some $200 bloodwork in one of those, because 18-year-old cat), I think the largest single purchase might actually be the tickets for the cider tasting my girlfriend and I are going to tomorrow, at $103.50 for two tickets. Even then, I don't know how much that can count, given that my sister gave us tickets to it for Christmas that I had to exchange for a gift card because my girlfriend's schedule changed. I wasn't able (that I could see) to use the gift card to pay for the new tickets, so I did end up paying for them myself, but I also still have the gift card and will use it in place of my own money for any future purchases there, so ultimately it'll even out and I effectively won't have paid for it. So I dunno.

Point is, apparently I don't buy many expensive things.

A used 2020 Tesla Model X Performance for like $60k. My wife's new commuter car :)

I think we got a pretty good deal on it, it was practically new. My uncle who lives on Nantucket does caretaking for rich people who live on the island (basically he takes care of their houses while they're not living in them) and one of the people he works for is upgrading to the 2022 model when it comes out and sold us the 2020 one. It was an island car so it hardly got driven. I think my uncle drove it more than the owner lol
