im not the authority on this, obviously, but my understanding is that bisexual, by definition, is an attraction to two genders. (This is almost always an attraction to males and females, but you could technically be into any two genders.) Pansexuality rejects the gender binary, and is inclusive of transpeoples, intersex peoples, gender-fluid people, and other non- or a- gendered people.

Theres definitely room for argument that bi- wasnt meant to be exclusionary, or that its an umbrella term for attracted to more than one gender which pansexuals fall under. I certainly dont think any less of anyone who identifies as bi but is more accurately pan. Theyre all just words and gender is fake so :P

Ive never personally met someone who identities as bi who is turned off by the idea of dating someone outside the gender binary, but Im sure those people do exist. So in order to be both more inclusive and more precise, I identify as pan. Also, I personally dont identify myself as male anymore, so maybe Im a bit extra sensitive to bisexual implying non-binary folk arent included.

It's more of a modern nuance in which "bi" is seen as sticking with the gender binaries, and "pan" is seen as being more inclusive with gender fluids, transgenders, etc.

I'm Demi-sexual but not sure if i'm pure Hetero-Demi-sexual or if I could actually be Bi-Demi-sexual. I doubt it though.

I have been attracted to women my whole life, but I don't look at a woman and think "I wanna hit that". I do notice if a woman is attractive/pretty though and don't notice the same thing in a man.

That being said, I become sexually attracted to a woman by getting to know her and building trust/a relationship with her. I have never tried that with a guy, so in theory it could be possible if I did.

I am not particularly attracted to womens junk, or even breasts for that matter (though I do find them mildly attrative and prefer small to medium breasts).

I am totally NOT attracted to male junk though (I would say less attracted to male junk them women's junk but I won't go out of my way to look at either).

So I guess I could possibly find a guy attractive if it was the right guy and we had that kind of relationship develop, but it's never happened and it probably won't at this point. I certainly wouldn't be against developing a relationship with someone who was Trans though for instance or refuse to develop one because of a persons sex.

I just don't know if I would enjoy sex with that person lol.

There are also almost certainly people who identify as bi who reject the entire premise that gender fluidity or "gender queer" identities exist at all, because regardless of how Internet social culture tends to assume those are given and established concepts and anyone who disagrees is being phobic, there are a LOT of people in the world who exist outside of that sphere who don't accept the argument.

Pretty much. Bisexuality doesn't always mean anything goes. If somebody is attracted to two genders, that doesn't mean they're necessarily going to feel any attraction towards somebody outside those genders, any more than a hetero/homosexual feels anything outside their chosen sex/gender.

I'm fine with anyone being who they are, or feel they are, and any sexual enjoyment as long as it is concentual and private (and nobody gets hurt that doesn't want to).

At the same time some would consider me anti-trans (which is crazy) because I feel that sexual organs should be used to determine what changing room/restroom you use, especially for children.

My line, I guess you would call it, is when your beliefs/identity/sexuality crosses over and starts affecting other people. You are free to be who you want, to look like what you want and be treated as what you want, but you shouldn't put your own freedom over other's. If someone doesn't want to look at male junk (heck I don't want to look at male junk) and especially if they don't want their children to, then they should not have to.

So to me, that means unless there is a separate changing room for all genders, or female junk only people, then anyone with male junk should not use a female changing room/bathroom (I don't care as much about female junk in a male changing room because there is far less female on male sexual crimes etc).

So yeah, I'm pro LGBT etc, totally happy for anyone who finds love or even sexual release in any capacity with another willing human being. I celebrate anyone who finds a way to feel comfortable in their own skin and I applaud men and women who know themselves enough to make a large change to enable that.

The only thing I'm anti is suffering or trauma, causing pain to others (against their will) and taking away a persons freedom or ability to live the life they want.

While I'll support anyone's right to dress how they want, identify as who they are etc, I also support the freedom to not be exposed to things that make you uncomfortable or that might remind you of previous trauma etc. There has to be a way for everyone to get along together and not be so forceful/aggressive in the stances they take.

Omnisexual maybe.

I don't think it's used very much, atleast I've never heard it used by someone and I really don't know what makes it different from Pan.

I think pan would limit themselves to sentient beings, and probably humans (although aliens might work).

Omni sexual could find anything sexually attractive I guess, even animals, inanimate objects etc. Basically your turned on by everything and anything that you could get freaky with in some way (limited I guess only by your imagiation...or its).

For me sex has always been about the connection with the other person, bringing them happiness/joy and sharing pleasure with each other. I don't have an over riding urge to have sex unless there is a connection there.

I guess an omni sexual would be like the polar opposite, needing no connection at all, and having the ability to get turned on by anything that works basically.

I agree that Omni would also imply inanimate objects and even weirder stuff, like concepts and ideas and emotions? Its pretty much impossible to be omnisexual unless literally everything turns you on, no matter how gross, nonexistent, or unknowable a thing is.

importantly, omni implies not only every thing but every way and every variation. Pan people (generally, Im sure there are exceptions) do not want non-consensual sex or sex with kids or animals like an omnisexual person would, in theory.

My take on Bi/Pan/Omni/Poly sexual is that there is a ton of overlap, but the distinction is important to some people, and that's ok.

I wouldn't say any of them is more inclusive than the other. I've met pansexual who are deeply transphobic, and I've met bisexuals who took the time to educate themselves on genders outside if the binary model.

Also, sapiosexual is just ableism
