Why can't both just go up? If you already sold, just don't watch it. That said, down 8% after a 71% day....yeah, I'm feeling pretty good even though it's now below my buy price.

I just had the busiest week of work in my life last week. Definitely makes it hard to keep up with stocks.

RKT will plummet, I fear.

I will support all my RKT friends who still have it though. I may even throw more in tomorrow for camaraderie.

So after a little bit of DD, I think a 15 P/E ratio for RKT is pretty fair. Which means I'll be looking to sell at 60 to 65, but maybe we squeeze past that.

Predix for tomorrow: dip at open, especially if it goes crazy pre-market, followed by a strong run all day.

And after this run is over, hopefully RKT is way down and I might add it to my portfolio long term. I like the company a lot, can't believe I missed it.

Okay guys so let's talk about LKNCY

They paid the SEC fine of $180M
But then declare bankruptcy chapter 15, but that can be done as a restructuring process to help resolve bondholder/lawsuit stuff
And they're still operational as a business and vow to protect the interests of "stakeholders" and apparently have an abundance of cash on hand so wouldn't they have to make shareholders whole since it's not a true bankruptcy?

So if they're just out to screw shareholders over why pay the fine. It doesn't add up to me.

I feel like there might be some profit to be had here. Does anyone know more about this than I do? Is there a reason the value of the shares goes to 0 but the fine is paid? Or is the market's fear of the word bankruptcy a secret buying strategy here?

The use of the word "stakeholders" instead of "shareholders" is a red flag to me. Employees and creditors are also stakeholders, and they have priority over shareholders if the company is insolvent. But otherwise, the company is supposed to be run for the best interests of the shareholders. So for them to use "stakeholders" makes me suspicious.

Could still be a good buy though. I wish I understood more about Chapter 15 and Cayman Islands restructurings.

Interestingly my short term put is not keeping up with the fluctuations of my long term put on rkt. Because of that I'm down money.

Bought 2 Jan 2022 $20 RKT calls with the dip as their price became surprisingly reasonable.

Now I have triple call selling leverage. Which I'm debating using now on an EOW call but if it flies again and I kinda think it will I'd much much rather do it while it's flying

My entry point is decent so even if a pump and dump more than a squeeze I'm unlikely to get burned here. Basically my shares are $29 and the calls balance to $33.

Nope! It's still the most bizarre thing that nobody can figure out. Like the explosion was weird, but the fact that they were just pegged at 1 for so damn long and are only now starting to dump. No one can figure out.

Tempted to roll rocket back to $40 to make another $300 and further damage control but I dunno I still think it's going to pop. Don't really want to cash them all out at $40. $55 I'd be completely fine with.

I just did 2 buy/writes for a cost basis of 27 with a strike price of 32. If it hits 32 i made 1000, if it waits to spike till next week i'm golden.

If it drops i guess i just sell more covered calls

It's roughly in line with how GME behaved on the way up. These retracements are normal on an upward movement. But also, I'm fine with owning RKT at this price based on value alone. Mortgages are a huge market and this company is already profitable enough to be paying dividends.
