It's now officially where I originally got in on it at so I'm holding a bag technically

Thing is I actually think the company is fine at $29 as fair value so at this point it's a bit suspicious. Almost wanna buy those calls I sold back for +$100 now cause how does it not end the day higher than this.

And it explodes because the short selling was happening back when it was at $20 so to cover loads of shares need to be bought at $30 (and probably lower than that but that was the highest strike on the table back then)

More eyes on the stock than ever before, still has short squeeze potential, reaching oversold levels right now, etc.

I'm not touching it still but there could come a point it gets too tempting

It's roughly in line with how GME behaved on the way up. These retracements are normal on an upward movement. But also, I'm fine with owning RKT at this price based on value alone. Mortgages are a huge market and this company is already profitable enough to be paying dividends.

It's much more than a mortgage company, at least that's how they view themselves.

If it was just mortgage, I wouldn't be that interested in going long with interest rates rising back up and a potential for upside that's...fine, but nothing special. According to the super longs, they're a bonafide fintech company with an approach to lending that could revolutionize the sector. A lot of it is about stock manipulation though, which is nonetheless very interesting.

Bought my Rocket calls back for a bit over $100 so made about $200 on those.

Wanna be ready to sell them back if it blasts off again. Opportunity cost to make that last $100 seemed too high.

There's been a heavy rotation of institutions fron tech stocks into recovery stocks. Not to mention it has 50% short interest now. I am absolutely eying it as a possible trade to get in early before it gets hyped as another squeeze trade.

Thanks for reminding me about NNDM. Bought into it. 50% decline from the top feels like a good entry point.

I sold a little bit of BTC to do it now that it's recovered to 51k. Crypto had exceeded 10% of my portfolio (due to the stocks plunging) so it was time to reallocate.

My portfolio is under 90k now, over 35 grand from just a couple weeks ago. That's a lot of goddamn money.

The Moonroof strategy of holding stocks for 15 minutes is suddenly looking appealing.

Definitely need to find a stock that has doubled in the past day and put 90k into it before immediately selling for a loss imo

Hey to be fair to Moonroof he made money on RKT! And I didn't.

Like I'm fine. Stocks go up and stocks down. I've done my research on my largest position sizes and have faith in a strong recovery, it just sucks to see money you've worked hard for wiped away by such a quick market correction. I know that declines happen fast while gains often happen slow, I'm just still new to this and it hurts to see. Really expected to be at 150k right now, but it is what it is.

I would probably be a lot more stressed if I wasn't still convinced AVCTW can bring my portfolio higher than ever before soon. But in the meantime it needs to keep dipping so I can feel comfortable buying back in large. Hopefully it all works out.

Yeah, holding cash has been a big winner the past couple weeks. When the market goes back to rising, though, holding stocks will be advantageous again.

I bought RKT on my own volition but was advised to hold it. Im not knocking anyone for that advice, but its odd that Gamestonk wanted the smoke.

I constantly swing between being up and down on it. I originally mentioned it when it was right around 1 and bought at 1.06, and that was before it ran to 1.60+. I had an 8k win on it at one point and didn't take it because I believe it will be higher soon. Still do, but if it's not near 2.5 by the call expiry (E: March 19 call that had insane volume) it will likely dump first. So I'm likely to sell for a small win and get back in after that. That's my current thinking.

That said, I think I've made a few thousand of realized gains on it. My position size is quite smaller than it was before.

I know a guy who got into MSFT in 1985 or thereabouts. He is up something like 2000x.

SpaceX isn't publicly traded so I don't think there would be any issues with them launching during market hours, but yeah, their other launches that I've seen were also outside market hours as far as I can remember.

I sold it for a pretty big loss. But made it up with BGFV and TA.

I wonder if a movie like Chaos Walking doing well would push theatres like AMC up, or if continued bombing would drive them further down. Or will this not matter all for a while still?

They landed it! Not a perfect landing, but no explosion and the rocket got back onto the ground in one piece. (I still feel like it would be easier to land some robots on Mars and use them to build a runway/launch pad than this method of doing a midair flip and landing vertically).

SpaceX isn't publicly traded. If you're talking about SPCE, yes, it's reacted a little bit to each SpaceX launch I think. It does make me feel better about their runway landing method - to my knowledge, neither SPCE nor NASA have ever had a spacecraft blow up while landing on a runway.
