I can only imagine that that might eventually grow old, but its going to propel her for a long, long time. And shes basically the princess of a ninja village. Are all Sheikah ninjas? Or is it just some of them? Because the only Sheikahs I can remember are all either ninjas or like super old ladies with secret occult knowledge. Either way, Paya clearly has like a stable lifestyle, so points for her. I guess shes not very attentive, because her one job is to protect the all-important unstealable Sheikah Heirloom that no one for miles would even think of stealing, and it gets stolen immediately after Link meets her. Should be at the fodder line, but I feel like there's a character in this game who's very clearly the fodder line and they're at #12. 13/14 - Sakura & Aoi; I knew this'd be coming because Japan apparently dislikes tan and brown girls, but those would be in the correct spot for me if you moved them up each by 10. DR2: 4 - Ibuki; top 4 all look pretty expected. I just think Ibuki is overrated as hell. 6 - Mikan; we've talked about Mikan a ton. I don't hate her, but her being that high speaks to the quality of characters as individuals in the DR2 cast. 7 - Kazuichi; get his ass down toward the bottom. 9 - dancer girl whose name I've forgotten; get her down to the very bottom please. Can I just say that, after watching some of it on YouTube to catch myself back up, the quality of the voice acting in the series is weird? It sounds nothing like a modern anime dub would sound, I dont know how else to explain it. Someone who knows more about voice-acting can probably do it, though. Anyway, my question is this: why do anime Wikis sometimes list seiyuu instead of Voice Actor (JP)? Isnt a seiyuu just a voice actor? While watching a clip of this on YouTube, I was reminded of how the leader of the country is called the Fuhrer. I cant believe that was translated faithfully, that would never happen today. So, Riza is the Platonic ideal of that trope where a bunch of dudes are wacky and goofy and the one girl is calm, disciplined, and always gets the job done, but secretly shows warmth at select moments, especially with the boy she likes. Fair enough. I know her backstory is more complex, but as far as pure personality goes, shes among the most tropey on this list. Girlfriendness is a slightly mixed bag, but its mostly positive. Yeah, shes got a military job, but its not like shes a professional adventurer or anything Im not sure I still agree with Past Anagram (Pastagram?) about Rizas attractiveness being a 69, but its okay. Shed be in the 60s anyway. Im going to say that, tentatively, Riza is probably about as high as a soldier waifu can reasonably be. I cant really think of any way to improve her position on the list besides attractiveness stuff.
