My sisters dog was named Sarah. So, Sarahs a teacher, which is a pretty good waifu job, even if shes a teacher at an academy that trains you to be a fighter. You might think that Id hold it against her that shes not really a normal teacher, that she lazes about and mostly lets her students teach themselves and only actually does stuff when its necessary or important, but you know what? Eh. Im not her student. I mean, yes, I know that shes still an effective teacher who gets the job done, and I know that shes an extremely skilled fighter whos been the best since she was sixteen (she needs to meet up with Quistis so they can both be the best student warriors ever who become teachers at a young age together), but since I wont ever be her student, its all sort of unimportant from my perspective, isnt it? Sara also follows that classic archetype of Im unbelievably beautiful and talented and amazing, but somehow I cant get a boyfriend, so sure, okay. The teasing elements of her personality are great, I like waifus with some senses of humor to them. More importantly, shes kind of lazy and unreliable except during important moments. Like, I looked her up on youtube, and the first one second of video is the main character of the game chastising her for drinking during the day, and her being like lol its in my room and its my own beer, who cares. Gonna say thats not super appealing to me. You know who else was a drunk waifu associated with the military? Misato Katsuragi from NGE. But Sara never tries to have sex with a thirteen-year-old, so she wins significant bonus points over Misato. Oh, and obviously shes hotter than hell. Maybe I need to give Trails of Cold Steel a try sometime. It's known that Nemesis was originally going to have more scenes with Wesley where he'd interact with everyone and talk, but for whatever reason, all of them were cut except the wide shot of everyone eating together. Can I just say that although shes marketed as the tomboy princess, thats really only in comparison to the ultra girly Peach? Anyway, Daisy is this high on the list almost entirely by virtue of her being a princess and being invited to all of the big Mario events. Theres probably a lot of prestige there. But really, Isabelle was always going to be the highest-ranking furry waifu of a non-furry list. Who was her competition going to be? Gadget? Krystal? Arlene? Does Arlene count as a furry waifu or just a normal cat? She strikes me as super borderline. By the way, unrelated: I was originally going to have a Fan Art Factor category, where I would go onto websites and rate how good the fanart was on average. I deleted this category because the first two waifus I tried this on, I got nothing but porn, and Isabelle is one of the two. Her porn was at least straightforward, though, pretty much what youd expect. The other waifu had weird, crazy porn. Anyway, Isabelle is up here for the reasons you think she is: shes a super hardworking secretary smart enough to keep an entire town running for the mayor, and also she has engineering degrees from 19 different universities. That part is either very impressive or the result of a lot of online diploma mills. Like, Isabelle is just so relentlessly cheerful, kind, and responsible (even if shes also somehow a klutz more standard anime waifu archetyping there) that its impossible not to love her. Even her color, yellow, was strategically chosen to be cheery and vibrant. Like, I enjoy how if you dont log in for a while, Isabelle is the person all of the work gets dumped on, and shes actually able to do it, shes just tired afterward. My point is that its very clear that Isabelle is up to the challenge of having an important job and maintaining a stable, normal relationship at the same time. If Isabelle was human, shed probably be in the top twenty! but shes a Shih Tzu, so shes not. By the way, unrelated: I was originally going to have a Fan Art Factor category, where I would go onto websites and rate how good the fanart was on average. I deleted this category because the first two waifus I tried this on, I got nothing but porn, and Isabelle is one of the two. Her porn was at least straightforward, though, pretty much what youd expect. The other waifu had weird, crazy porn. Anyway, Isabelle is up here for the reasons you think she is: shes a super hardworking secretary smart enough to keep an entire town running for the mayor, and also she has engineering degrees from 19 different universities. That part is either very impressive or the result of a lot of online diploma mills. Like, Isabelle is just so relentlessly cheerful, kind, and responsible (even if shes also somehow a klutz more standard anime waifu archetyping there) that its impossible not to love her. Even her color, yellow, was strategically chosen to be cheery and vibrant. Like, I enjoy how if you dont log in for a while, Isabelle is the person all of the work gets dumped on, and shes actually able to do it, shes just tired afterward. The longest amount of time Ive spent outside of a city is one week camping, and the longest amount of time Ive spent in a small town is a day. And if you have artistic dreams, okay, but sculpting? I have to believe that thats the most impractical type of art to make a living off of. Im struggling to think of anything worse than that to try to make your job. Of course, it works out for Leah in the end, but even then she requires the player to give her the idea of an art show.
