Honestly I've hated the fact that people have good laughs memeing Alex Jones for years now. It's just given him more notoriety and there's nothing funny about him

I admit Im outdated because I havent been watching any political commentary since the Summer, but I distinctly remember him saying Trump was accelerating in a way that hes probably gonna vote Joe, recognizing fully that Joe sucks but is the not intentionally apocalypse us option.

Regardless of all that, hes not even a smidge pro-Trump, so I guess I just dont see the point of complaining Rogan isnt having a Biden Boy on.

As for Alex Jones, it looks like Alex invited himself, it was originally going to be just Kyle and the other guy.

There was a widely covered feud between Joe and Alex, where Joe said Alex couldnt come on until he apologized and disavowed his Sandy Hook shit.

Alex responded by saying Joe was corrupted by the Illuminati.

Joe called him out again, and he got Alex to apologize.

As for letting him spew unchallenged, if youve seen any of it, Joe is literally laughing AT him, to his face, constantly. Joe sees it as comedy, and anyone who could possibly watch Joes show and be confused that Alex is legit is already the type of person who consumes Alexs content directly.

Nobody is being converted by Alex Jones on Joe Rogan.

There is no excuse for giving Alex Jones a platform in which to speak period. It does not matter if the host personally hates or derides him. If Jones is on your program and his words are being spoken for people to hear them you're a failure.

Joe Rogan sucks on his own enough as it is. It doesn't matter if Jones invited himself, if Rogan had an ounce of integrity he would refuse to let him on.

No one should give Alex Jones a platform. You are dead wrong if you don't think that giving him attention, negative or otherwise will increase his fanbase. Him being an embarrassment everyone hates hasn't blunted his popularity in the slightest. It's not a bug, it's a feature. You don't beat characters like Alex Jones by facing them head-on - you persona non grata them and let them fall into irrelevance.

You priority being Joe Rogan getting clicks over an extremely harmful right-wing actor getting to spread his message is fucking embarrassing, especially when it's coming from a self-professed Bernie fan.

Not Alex Jones! Outside of his own website, Infowars has basically been blacklisted across the internet. He even got permabanned from Twitter! Joe Rogan is his last remaining mainstream platform, that's why people call it out.

The only times Jones is relevant is when he's on Rogan or if there's a development in the Sandy Hook lawsuit (which he is still dragging out).

I already said, when he's on Joe's podcast Joe is laughing at him, and when he's not he's literally questioning him.

Like the episode that just aired, Alex Jones tried to be anti-climate change and Joe spent like an hour of the podcast pulling up links to fact check him live on the air.

You may remember Trump firing US Attorney Geoffrey Berman a while back. It turns out that Trump did that at Erdogans request because Berman was investigating a state-owned Turkish bank for violating Iran sanctions.

Erdogan had asked Biden to fire a different US Attorney (Preet Bharara, who Trump also fired) and to remove a judge prosecuting another Turk in 2016. Biden refused, and said that if Obama did that he would be (rightfully) impeached.

That's a big deal. That's exactly what Biden's accused of doing in Ukraine.

Jeremy Corbyn has been suspended from the Labour party.

This is because the Equalities and Human Rights Commission report into antisemitism in the Labour party was published today. Corbyn and other top party officials were not found guilty of wrongdoing, but several unlawful acts were found in terms of processes, action on reports of antisemitism, and antisemitic harassment by members. Keir Starmer gave his response taking collective responsibility, defending Corbyn, and saying that in addition to antisemitism, anybody who attempted to say that claims of antisemitism were exaggerated would be expelled from the party. Seems pretty reasonable.

Mere moments later, Corbyn releases a response saying that the claims in the report were exaggerated.

Real stupid move from Corbyn. I'm on the left, I supported him, but it's difficult to defend that.
