However I know Monmouth results have been critical of the Dems chances here over the last several months but are suddenly swerving.

I still get political mail from Georgia so in case people are wondering the main attack being used against Ossof (other than the "He is a democrat which means he supports every liberal policy any dem has supported" attack that seems to be used in every race) appears to be a claim that he is funded by terrorists.

Their reasoning (that is even shown on some of the mailers) being that he has received funds from Al Jazeera which has received funds from Qatar which has also given money to a terrorist group.

Ossoff is a spoiled rich kid and as milquetoast as they come (speaking as someone who has voted for him twice now).I guess his current "success" proves that being a moderate might still work in Georgia, but that's only if he actually wins. If he loses again, I hope we finally start seeing more progressive candidates in Georgia.

The Rs have had an absolutely embarrassing showing here in general. Every attack ad is a joke (they literally did a 90s style hip attack ad to try and appeal to the youth), and I have never seen a single ad that was actually PRO Perdue. It's all just ATTACKING Ossof.

This really shined through in the debate, where Ossof's opening salvo was that Perdue has absolutely nothing to say for himself and is only going to attack me...of which Perdue proceeded to do exactly that.

And whenever Ossof goes after Perdue himself...he doesn't even make an attempt to defend himself, he just changes subject and attacks back. I think he's trying to use the Trump method but he has absolutely zero energy or charisma and fails spectacularly.

I'm not saying I don't believe The Rs still have the higher chance to win here, but I think both for Trump and for the seats the Republicans didn't consider Georgia enough of a risk to put a lot of effort into, and it's biting them in the ass. Few states have tightened up more in the polls than Georgia over the last half year.

Hea not being suspended for antisemitism though. Hes being suspended for saying that the claims in the report from the countrys human rights body is exaggerated. Which is of course an independent report not affiliated with the Labour party.

So Corbyns not an antisemite at all, nor is anybody saying he is. Hes just dug his own grave for no reason after he was more or less exonerated.

The notion that Trump has zero charisma is wrong. People here view charisma as either being hot or an Obama-type speaker, but it's something that comes in many different forms. Ted Cruz being only racist and saying the same things Trump does wouldn't work. It's a playbook that only works if you're able to work people up into a frenzy and tap into their trial monkey brain, which Trump is very good at doing.

Tony, we already did this. A light was shone on him and a bunch of websites went "wow, yeah, not on my platform." Alex Jones is known throughout the internet as a walking meme who is throughly discredited. He's being sued for defamation. Why do we need to keep shining the light?

The answer is because Rogan and Jones both profit from doing this. It really is that simple. I'll even meet you halfway here - sometimes I enjoy a good Alex Jones meme. But that is his brand now! This is all branding. People tune in to see if Jones starts ranting about gay frogs and if Rogan will call him out on the gay frogs and they both get something out of it. Just because you don't personally go out and buy more of their nutrition supplements or whatever the fuck merch they sell doesn't mean that isn't their goal.
