Of course I posted it on purpose because the timeline is incredible.

I said this twice to Rock and he ignored it as he does, but if when Scalia died he was on chemo, officiated someones wedding during a pandemic, and passed two weeks later, you KNOW wed mention it. Its the absurdity of the situation.

Whether the wedding had an actual effect doesnt matter, the timeline is like...testing 2020, exemplified.

Though this isn't an exact thing and IIRC there were cases of second-degree burns in some percentage of test cases.

The hypocrisy of moderations on other topics wasnt the point I mentioned my previous posts. Like, you can say Im lying, but when my first response to was to ask a question hey, wouldnt you bring it up if the tables were turned, Id hope youd be smart enough to know Im not.

I mentioned my not-moderated posts because it was literally the most spartan thing I posted and was given the highest possible penalty outside of a ban.

going by this post, i wouldn't say "half the topic has me on ignore because i'm a republican" holds water, as i'm sure many people in this topic would agree with much of what you said. for instance, i myself am anti-globalist too (and i don't necessarily see this as a "right-wing" view) and i also think healthcare for all is a good idea.

I think the previous two posters are good examples. I definitely think both of them have some ridiculous opinions I roll my eyes at but I've never felt tempted to block them. I can understand blocking corrik though because I don't believe his arguments are in good faith and he definitely comes across as doing backflips to support Republicans. Only person I've ever blocked is red Sox for the same reason. Debating with someone whose opinion seems disingenuous seems fruitless

Ginsburg also believed that the President doesn't not become the president in the last year of office and still is to nominate a judge in the last year if it comes up.

People just misinterpret her last wish. She knows he has the right to and is obligated to even. She just wished it wouldn't be done until a NEW president. Thus 2025 if Trump won re-election or 2021 if he lost. It has nothing to do with whether she believed he could or should. She just didn't want Trump personally choosing her replacement.

The more I think about it, the less likely I think Trump is to win the election. He seems to be under the impression that since he won in 2016 he can just repeat the same bag of tricks here. However, times are very different and Trump's situation couldn't be more dissimilar. If anything his position is more like Hillary Clinton's in 2016 - he's no longer an upstart underdog.

Yeah I continue to have a modicum of faith in the collective intelligence of Americans and assume Trump won mostly because they decided en masse that they'd rather take a chance on him than the "inevitable" Hillary Clinton presidency. Which basically comes down to Americans collectively deciding they didn't want a woman in office. Including women.
