Used my last elemtal tickets on the Lightning banner, and finally got a second lightning mage AASB in Matoya's; technically my first but Ashe Sync fulfills the same purpose.

This got me the magic Leviathan clear, that I had been putting off until now.

Sorry for the long response but working at grocery store during thanksgiving week is exhausting! Came home wrecked every day till now. But yeah I hate using dragoons so I don't want to get Sky High, and because Luneth won't be able to use running start to remove soul break cast times because I have to use both slots for Hurricane bolt. I'd get Lunneth's HA though but that's still 4/5 months away bleh.

I really hate the Dreambreaker/Wodin meta, bosses are so insanely bulky and it feels like I can't beat them because I don't have the sync/record board/HA/Anima Lens+/6* motes or they're just stupid like Cerberus. FF2's is just making me feel like shit, I have Maria's sync/Awakening and Emperor's Awakening but I can't kill the last phase fast enough because I have to burst through phase 2 to avoid getting silenced, but the bulk in the third phase is too much to cap break, or at least enough time before the chain/sync/awakening run out. Today's last day for the rat tails and I'm gonna have to let those slip by as well.

I gave up on physical wind weak Wodin so I picked Prompto's Awakening, maybe I'll do better against the lighting weak one, at least I have a third DPS for FFXV's dreambreaker.

I also got a disco on the daily today but it was dupe Arena USB, I saw I always get that scare on the daily when Dream Selects are about to end.

You don't need to use Hurricane Bolt because his awakening gives zero air time... so you could use running start to build up SB and use the awakening, then use Sky High to do damage.

But yeah, I also decided to wait on the Argent Odins, I'm going to try again after the anima lens refresh.

Garland USB (dupe), Gabranth Glint+ and Bartz Wind AASB!!! That's what I like to see.

But his Awakening only lasts 15 seconds and that's not gonna cut the mustard on a 5 million HP boss, he also doesn't have a Kain usb1 clone to back him up which means I'll have to deal with air time outside of those 15 seconds.

Really happy about that Rufus Awakening! Great stat stick even if I never use him.

Beat my first Dreambreaker with FFIX. I had previously mastered it with the Petrify trick, but the kill feels good.

By the way, how do you use your preset teams? I'm out of space and I need to drop something... here's what I have:

1 daily dungeon team (whoever I'm farming magia for)
1 random slot for whatever I'm currently working on
16 6* Magicite teams
16 5* Magicite teams
17 Torment teams
9 Dreambreaker teams

I started replacing the 6* magicite with Argent Odin teams since I don't need to farm 6* magicite. I don't want to get rid of 5* or Torment teams because of weekly missions. But I need to get rid of something to save new dreambreaker teams.

I plan to overwrite my Torment teams with Dreambreaker teams, meaning I just deleted my Meltigemini party. I will never have to revisit that fight ever again.
I keep a single auto-torment party saved (FFII in my case) for the weekly missions.

I guess when I'm ready for Argent Odin, I'll delete the 6* magicite teams and keep all 16 5*s for the weekly mission.

Keep one 5* team for missions is all you need to basically maximize efficiency as you can just knock 10% off the 5* of the week once to get that credit then do the rest of the clears on someone else. But at a stretch you can keep 8 if you really want a kill on every fight of a week since the game doesn't care about physical/magical split for mission clears. That frees up 8-15 slots.

Get rid of the torments that have already entered rotation for weeklies since it's doubtful they come back, keep your most efficient clear

Torment teams are still good for Gilgamesh when he comes back with a higher difficulty since he's not as BS as dreambreaker.

Well that's rather disappointing... At least the rank up is nice.

All new, but also all kinda bad.

So I have way too many inventory slots (over 700) and find myself constantly near the cap. I vault stuff, and sometimes rainbow stuff, but I never really know what to keep and such. Should I just keep mainly elemental boosting equipment? What about 8* (6++) gear that are basically stat sticks? I got rid of most resist accessories after getting my Odin accessories, and it helped for a bit, but now I'm back at this point again.

Yep. Basically, the assumption is that you only need to keep elemental boosting weapons and armor (for your attackers) plus perhaps 1-2 more per realm (for your healers).

Also, elemental artifacts can get ~280 Atk/Mag/Mnd with reasonable investment, ~300 if you go all out. Recent 6* melee weapons get around 180+3 Atk normally, 280+5 under synergy. So, even with synergy, 6* weapons aren't any better than elemental artifacts, let alone the appropriate realm artifacts. If you're well off on artifact stones, you can junk most of your 6* weapons. (Is it worth keeping a 6* weapon around on the off chance that you'll get a dupe and be able to combine it? If you're struggling to find inventory space, the answer is surely "no".)

Any relics without an elemental boost is rainbow crystals besides high mind armor for a healer.

Also there's been enough artifact stones that I don't even use gacha weapons much anymore besides a few exceptions like OK's sync rod and a back up dark boosting Cloud AOSB in case I have to use both Seifer and Orlandeau (but I also have Shadow's chain too so maybe I don't need that anymore either)

Since there are no realm artifact armors that would be tougher. But the guideline would basically be don't keep something if you don't have someone to use it. e.g. don't keep 3 fire armors if there are only 2 fire characters in that realm.

I don't like the banners enough to go that deep on december fest. Maybe in march for the anniversary banners, those seem significantly better.

They are underwhelming but since I'm desperate for Orran's Awakening I'll be using it. Rem Sync alone is probably worth 500 mythril with how busted it is, easy Diabolos farming and potentially easy sub30 Dreambreaker.

I don't think I posted what I got from the fest ticket pulls but the only useful thing I picked up was a Squall Awakening. DB prep pull for FFIV only got me a Barb LBO, and I'm just like god ANOTHER wind relic. I have more 7* wind relics than every other element combined! I guess I can start to shard some of the lower-end wind boosters

I did one pull on the banner for Shantotto's sync because I hit 550 mythril, and I realized I can't pull on the Shantotto sync banner next fest (too many dupes).

Got Shanty's new chain and Lili's Glint+. Well, that won't help my weak IX realm at all.

I got Aphmau's proshellga glint+ with today's ticket. I wonder if I should attempt the Dreambreaker since I have Prishe Chain and Awakenings for her, Lion, Shantotto and Aphmau. I don't have many dex 6* motes though.
