Rem seems pretty worth the hype. First I obliterated Ark for the weekly mission, then sub-30ed Diabolos on my first try with the rest of the team being pretty mediocre (Hope with just his chain, Arc with just his awakening). 14/16 6* magicites done! Just Magic Ifrit and Magic Valefor left to go.

Man how annoying! I tested out the Dyad on Leviathan and hoped I'd kill him fast, but he's still out BS'ing me! Maybe I'm not ready for Wodin yet after all...

Well at least I got a sub9 on Mateus with the new Bartz Awakening for what that's worth.

Oh I still have 50 mythril left for the Stamps, I guess I'll use them on Banner 4 in hopes of Vann/Aphmau goodies.

Also is Vivi good for Dreambreaker with his sync? If so should I get his HA?

So if you just complete the magicite it'll give you the credit for mastering it, if you'd already mastered it. Still sucks but not quite as bad. You can suicide in and knock off 10% to get credit.

Got Reks glint+ with the last ticket. It's new but I don't have anything else for him.

Now that the tickets are up I made the USB and glint/LMR selects, went with Vanille Elara clone and ProShellga glint+. I was really tempted by Hope glint+ but I figured a proshellga would be the safer option.

Got a dupe Serafie AOSB. Garbage.

But now it's finally time to do some lens shopping.

Will be buying Bartz LMR2 and every healer Glint+ where I feel it would actually my realm or elemental teams. Surprisingly, there's not that many of them in the shop that I don't have:
Only Elarra, Hilda, Rosa, Relm and Deuce.

I'm also looking at some better healer USBs, or nice toys for my AASB holders. For tier 2 lenses, ther's maybe some 5* Glints and especially w-cast LMRs.

I'm currently at 44,835 / 55,970 / 43,580 lenses.
I'm curious what my lenses will look like after I'm done.

First I did the daily draw and got Yuna's awakening. (The summon one, not the one on the current banner)

Then the ticket, 4/10: Ace AOSB, Basch G+, dupe Luneth USB, dupe Yuna BSB.

I think I will also make some lens picks, Red's G+ and USB for starters. I might hone Cait Sith's awakening too. Really wish the stamp select thing would be fixed so I could get his USB now!

There's also going to be Dream Selects soon (most likely when the fest ends as usual) so I'm holding off Anima Lens picking until then. Just to be safe.

I'm also thinking about getting Ganet's chain off the gems select because her meter Glint+ is on the Lens shop so I can beat magic weak Leviathan.

I decided to pull on the X banner because it's a pretty good banner, X dreambreaker is hard, and it looks like the best water banner for the next 3 months. But I got Tidus's LBO and Paine's chain which isn't so great. I don't really want to dump more mythril after already doing 10 pulls on fest. Although I do have 100 left and I don't see much that's better in the next three months.

There's an Awakening stamp next fest isn't there? Like 650 mythril was it? I'm just gonna save up for that after I get my lat stamp tomorrow.

Edit it's 750 mythril to get the Awakening stamp and there's a another banner where if you do two 50 mythril pulls you get an awakening select, so 850 if you want both selects. Oof, hoarder mode activate!

Those banners aren't worth 15 pulls for me... I'm not sure if it's even possible for me to get to 750 mythril now, maybe if I skipped everything including LotR and lucky draws. 850 is impossible. I probably will do the two pull one though so I need to save 600.

This is a good PSA - you don't need to clear 33 different Magicite again to get the new mission rewards if you've already done it. You can clear your app data and then it will register that you have done the mission (just make sure your account is linked to your email so you're not deleting your game permanently)

Not sure I like the resolution to the stamp screw-up. Doesn't feel fair to those who were gonna do their pulls spread over all 5 banners.

It doesn't really impact me, one way or the other, but still.

It seems fair to me. Everyone got what was originally promised plus 10 extra mythril. That's pretty good. Some people get bonus relics, most of which were crap (I got a lensable USB for one of my least favorite characters, yay). A few people got lucky but that's just how the game works anyway.

First Argent Odin win! I should have taken the screenshot on the earlier screen, but the team was Maria (G+, Awakening, USB, and AOSB that I was about to use but then he died), Cait Sith (honed AASB, G+, USB2), Rinoa (Earth sync, both Awakenings, HA), Red XIII (Chain, USB2, G+, Awakening, HA), and Elarra (G+, USB, Awakening). I invested pretty heavily to get the win, especially using my USB and G+ picks on Red XIII and honing his awakening. I'm not sure if that was all necessary but I figure it will be useful for the other elements as well.

I was thinking about taking Earth weak magic Wodin but I don't have any magic earth imperils besides Emperor USB1 and bring in a heavy or Meliadoul/Dorgann wouldn't be worth losing a slot. Is Red XIII HA worth making if I only have his chain/USB2? I might get his Awakening on the dream select if so.

It is definitely good, but I don't know if it's worth it without his awakening. With the awakening he contributed a fair amount of damage as well as imperils. I think the rest of your team would have to be pretty stacked.

I have Maria Sync + Awakening and Rinoa Earth Sync/Brave, or Krile Sync as DPS. I guess I could do both Awakening dream selects and get Krile and Red XIII's.

Emperor and OK are also options though Emperor only gets infusion through his BSB and OK doesn't get any at all.

I think just taking Red XIII's would be enough if your support character is good. Using two selections is probably overkill. It's true Rinoa's earth awakening is janky, I wouldn't recommend taking it, but I got a lot of mileage out of her AASB1+AASB2+HA combo. Even though diffuse removes her enEarth and you can't do anything about it, she was still able to break rage for me and the instant doublecasts are nice.

Oh hey 100 Gemmed Vaan Sync

Kinda unique little sync. Damage barriers on a thief is neat. Not even sure what to do with this to be honest. I guess he can replace Gau on my wind team now?

Vaan's way better than Gau, and his lensable USB 1/2 still hold up as assists. Also his command 2 overwrites the High Stakes buff most bosses use (def/res/mind) His HA is also a wind physical version of Red XIII's.

If you can get his AASB2 he's the third best wind DPS behind Cloud and Zidane.

Now that I have an Odin magicite and was more familiar with the fight, I was able to take down the earth-weak version with my physical team. Still need to grind 3 more copies for the Odin (Ultra Attack) magicite (I got my Odin (Ultra Magic) to level 99 yesterday... then maybe I can move around the wheel and try Lightning again.

Got Terra's OSB with today's ticket, which I surprisingly didn't have yet.

I also beat my second Dreambreaker and it was even a sub30!



Like Zeromus this boss isn't hard at all beyond his stupid bulk, most noticeably that dumb greater barrier that gives him null + 3 on all elements (which is pretty evil on a hodgepodge realm) so I gave Deuce De'Diaja to help soften him so Rem could keep breaking the Savage modes in phase 2/3. Ace was reduced to OSB spam on the last phase once his sync wore off. Seven was just there to use her soul breaks to soften up his defenses, I didn't even 6* mote dive her. He doesn't have any other gimmicks besides an overstrike attack but Orran and Deuce provided plenty of healing so I was rarely in danger.

That one was my best dreambreaker time as well, something like 30.73. I was too lazy to go for the sub 30, I'll wait for more powercreep since the extra rewards aren't that huge.

With the 50 extra mythril they gave us I think I might do another pull on the X banner.

Started trying Lightning weak Odin. The Argent Antiheal mechanic is way more annoying than the Death mechanic. Death you just wait for it to happen, use Elarra's awakening, and carry right on. With Argent Antiheal it's really hard to get both characters killed at the same time, you need to manually target your heals of they will always target the antihealed characters, and any doublecasts will still target them and screw up your attempts to get them killed so they can just be raised. Tyro takes so long to die I guess I will see if I can use Magika Phoenix when Shelke dies and actually keep Tyro alive the whole time.

Another Odin down! It definitely gets easier once you get your first one and a copy of the magicite, and when you learn the fight. Also Lightning's limit break helped a lot at getting across the finish line, it was 5 x 99,999. I might have to reconsider my dislike of limit breaks, at least the 5 hit ones.

With yesterday's ticket, I picked up Edge AASB. I thought Zeromus was supposed to be so easy, but even with Edge AASB+HA, Rydia AASB and Pecil' Dyad+AASB, it wasn't easy at all.

So I bought Pecil's HA, which was doing a lot more damage than Holyja, and I got the win, sub-30 even.

Did a last minute pull on the X banner with the 50 mythril they gave us. 1/11 Yuna G+. It's a good G+, but I was really hoping for one of the syncs.

At this point I don't think I can beat water-weak Odin for 3 months, unless I randomly luck into something good with a realm ticket.

Magic Alexander down! He's easy with CoD's HA, but I still got instant kill'd twice (first one was that I used the HA too much and he got to the other instant kill judgement, and second was because I stacked too much pain on a character.) Well there goes 40 stamina thanks to this stupid new damage based rewards BS.

My first Dreambreaker where I've actually cleared the time limited mission. (except IX, but that was kinda cheating)

I remember how devastated I was when I pulled Rem's LBO, but those things are kinda insane. 500k damage makes for a very nice finisher. Technically Queen's AOSB was the finisher, but that's just a detail.

They're making it easier for me to pass on this one by leaving off the two awakenings I want most - Leila and Serah. Both should have been available here but for some reason because they postponed the Fun in the Sun event for like 9 months they're also postponing putting their awakenings in the select. I guess I could maybe do Lunafreya (basically I'm looking at ones where I already have their sync and they're relevant for a magicite element I haven't cleared yet)
