Got Cait Sith's bad USB on VII. I already have the Regenga+Last Stand USB, so this will probably not be used much, if at all.

After yesterday's Ultimecia BUSB I attempted magic Alexander and got him fairly easily.

Then, motivated by that success, after a fierce fight, I also managed to down magic Diabolos.
16/16 on 6* magicites!!!

I got Gilgamesh's awakening on the daily draw! My luck has been really good recently. Also picked up my Cloud stuff from the shop, time to see if I can do any better with the Dreambreaker and Odin. First attempt against the DB didn't get there, we'll see. Cloud's damage is great, but anti-heal is rough.

All right I beat physical Ifrit thanks to Paine's HA!



Augh I forgot how rough this guy is. Deuce Awakening + stoneskin USB+ Elarra clone makes the damage manageable with just 1 healer, well I did use Orran's BSB command 2 if that counts (man do I wish I had Alphinaud's Elarra clone USB though... ) Came really down to the wire! I was praying for Rikku dualcasts to finish him off when he just had 1.5% and the chain ended and then Paine died when she was recasting chain and thankfully I got it! What a Christmas miracle!

I got two dupes on the Awakening lucky, Genesis and Angeal. Genesis I'm semi okay duping for a rank boost but not Angeal!

Got Garland's heavy chase USB off RoP. It's new but I doubt I'll ever use it.

Bad fest so far, I really hope my luck swings for the main banners!!

1/11 Dupe Rem awakening. Disappointing. And a dupe Garland BSB on the LotR.

I didn't see any mention of stamps in the announcements, which kind of makes me think we're not getting them. If so I guess I'll be doing less pulls on these fest banners since they don't fit my needs all that well.

The removal of stamps would be incredicly dumb. I wasn't going to spend 50 blues this fest, but it's stupid regardless.

RoP was mostly wretched. I got (bad) dupes on all but

Josef Awakening, Aria Awakening, Xexat Awakening, Tidus dupe Awakening (dupe but nice to level up), Ashe Glint+

Now I did quite like the Aria Awakening my #1 wanted item in realm and the other stuff makes it I guess marginally worth the 85 mythril I suppose but it was not great.

Also went 1/11 Lightning Dupe Awakening on the Awakening lucky.

I did however 100 Gem Rikku Awakening and Rude Arcane recently and I got a great set from the Yuna Dress Record Banner + 2 draws on her banner

Kiros AASB is amazing. Kiros is a fantastic character in general if you have his USB as well since it's an instant cast Marche clone with switch draw infusion. He also has a lot of ability options. Only flaw I can think of is that he lacks infusion stacking (for now)

They're really slow rolling us this time though, with fest banners 2 days late, and then 3 days between banners instead of 2.

Mostly unhelpful but to me even a couple of hits makes it worth it to pull on every realm. Big healing upgrades for FFT and XIV. Gordon's LM is actually really nice for me since I have his realm chain and can now cast it immediately. Shadow Chain opens up Seifer to put in more offense now that he's no longer my only dark chain user - I have a never-used Awakening sitting there and it also makes his Sync on fest 1 more appealing.

Looking ahead at the fest banners, I think my plan will be 1 more pull on B1, 2-3 pulls on B2, 2 on B3, skip B4 unless I get Orran Awakening first try on B2, and the rest on B5 for all the chains. Then to wrap it up, Rem Sync for my stamp pull naturally.

Been trying to do physical-earth-weak argent Odin, it's frustrating how terrible Galuf's damage is. I wish I had used my awakening selection on something else since he does so little damage with it, he's better off just using his imperil-earth USB.

Yeah Galuf most likely got screwed because of his heavy class and Dena doesn't want people other than Cinque and Noctis dualcast with their awakenings.

Galuf is going to get a standard dualcast Earth Awakening in the future thankfully. And it has a soul gauge boost so it's easy to stack both his awakenings.

Good to know, I guess if I still haven't cleared this Odin by then I might target that banner. I just realized part of my problem was that I hadn't record boarded him yet, so that should help a bit for now.

One thing I just realized recently is that the syncs available from the 10 stamp thing are VERY limited, and it looks like there aren't any new ones added to the list for 6A. I would have thought I could at least pick up Rydia's old one but that's not the case. The only ones I don't already have (after I get Rem this time) are Bartz, Cloud, and Locke.

Also now that I got Orran's complete kit I'm thinking about tackling a Wodin. Not sure which one though. Lightning physical maybe?

That unlimited SB dungeon is such a good time. Especially combined with the RW it gives you.

Cloud: USB1 -> Sync -> AASB -> AOSB (was just about to use before BFA died)
Zidane: USB1 -> AASB -> Storm Assault
Faris: RW -> CSB -> USB2 spam
Alphinaud: dispel -> Sync -> AASB -> Cmd1 paired with chain tornado (killing blow)

Don't know how much HP he had, but those numbers were fun to watch!

Let us know how it goes. When I tried that one my damage was terrible even though I had a stacked Lightning and Edge for my DPS. I had to use Tyro over Orran because I needed his crit fixing to get anywhere. But if you have Prompto's stuff maybe you don't need that (I had to use Shelke as my chainer and she can't imperil)

It's so stupid I can't equip two Syncs on a character. I'd never want to use Sync 1 over Sync2, but content is so tanky these days, using both would absolutely be worthwhile.

At least my Tifa has her AASB as a second cap-break relic, so she isn't useless after 15 seconds. I just think, generally speaking, it's an awful design choice.

I really really hope they fix this. It's just so stupid, there's no reason for them to make it work this way. I guess the good news is I didn't lose my Sync or G+ select, just my USB. But I could definitely use a good USB (probably Cait Sith) and the one I got randomly is total trash.

I got Noel USB with my ticket today, I thought it was a dupe at first but it's the imperil one and I had the chase one, so that's nice.

Fingers crossed I get Lightning's Dyad tonight for Wodin! Though the main reason why I'm having trouble might be because my second best physical lighting DPS is Prishe and flashfist is way too weak for Wodin. Oh why didn't she get a HA on the last event...

I'm hoping for Lightning's Dyad and Vivi's sync myself. Cecil's Dyad and Lightning's sync2 would be cool, but physical holy is already my most stacked team... still wouldn't mind them though!
