I did one pull on b1 because I really want Zidane's sync... got Edge's sync and Zidane's Limit Glint instead. Definitely not bad, although I missed the top prize. My IV team is looking pretty decent now.

Zidane's sync seems totally nuts, since it has instant ATB3, instant cast thief, AND combines with his awakening (you can doublecast sync ability 1 and still have it linked to a wind celerity ability).

There was another set of dream selects in the last datamine for the last maintenance. Not sure on the date though, should be before next maintenance and we'll probably find out in the MVP letter.

I had a pretty lousy day today. I got another disco on the daily but it was a dupe Ingis USB. I tried doing some more split damage magicite, I attempted Diabolos with a magic team by having Hope take the first two phases then halfway have Rem use her Awakening and then have Hope use A/OSBs and Fabula Mage to break savage mode but Rem isn't fast enough to kill Diabolos in the third phase without her sync even with her HA. Man I wish Hope had a clone of Alphinaud's HA so he could keep attacking in the third phase without destroying the rift.

Tried Leviathan with a mage team but the countdown really sucks, I hate how he uses a diffusion so early on top off all the doom BS he does. I saw an no reraise Ashe solo DPS sub 25 which I have the tools for her but it had Garnet with her chain and glint+, Elara and Shantoto's chains aren't good enough to do that unfortunately.

I was rather disappointed when my 7* whip turned out to be Rydia's LBO and not her Sync. It's not like I won't find opportunities to use the thing, of course, as I have Rydia's AASB and some other stuff besides, but it may well end up contributing less overall than the AASB (Minwu) that was kind enough to accompany it. I suppose on Thursday I'll run Calcabrena on manual and see how much damage I can expect from an un-honed LBO.

I am thinking about doing another one, but the next two banners look really good too, and I think I need to save at least 100 mythril, preferably more so I can have 585 next fext (LotR + 500 for sync select). I have 326 right now.

I'm skipping this fest in prep for the 500 mythril stamps and there's supposed to be another fest with stamps later (exceptions being the RoP and Awakening lucky)

It's tough though since I'm itching for a good new DPS relic and haven't gotten one from the RoP or free draws yet.

Also anyone try Ward for Physical Ramuh? I have his USB/Awakening and his USB has stacking en element, but I'm concerned since his only earth ability option is heavy.

1 Gilgamesh down. Did FF7, as I have Cloud USB1+Sync, Seph Sync, Zack AASB, Shelke bot, and Aeris Sync. Beat him in 24ish seconds, but didn't renew chain in time, and had damage tank for a little bit. That was with pretty big numbers from Cloud, so I'm a little worried about other realms.

With that you should definitely be able to do it. I can't see what happened, but I know the last phase puts you on a pretty tight clock, so make sure you don't use up all your awakenings before then. Also it can be good to try to time your AOSBs when he's right above the phase 3 threshold so that you shorten phase 3.

Are you 6* mote diving Squall and have his Hero Ability? Also two healers seems a bit too much for ice weak Odin, maybe swap one for Tyro with USB4 to boost your crit and have him entrust the healer.

I got two dupes again with the last ticket, Balthier USB1 and fucking Freya BSB! God why won't stop giving me Freya's garbage BSB!!!

Also I found out Hope gets a single target 6 hit black magic HA, but it's six months away! I want it nooooow!!!

Got Magic Ifrit down to 20% hp. Apparently that's one of the tougher magicites. Maybe I should try a different one.

What's your Ifrit team? Rydia I assume, do you have the Sync/AASB combo?

Rydia Sync2 command 2 is a hard counter to Ifrit's fire pillar BS so I wouldn't get overconfident against other 6* Magicite.

Alexander and Shiva are the easiest ones to start with, though they are significantly bulkier that Ifrit who's squishier than Dark Odin.

I'm using

Rydia (Sync + AASB + USB2 + Arcane)
Strago (Chain + AASB + Burst {lore is actually kinda useful here})
Mog (AASB + Glint)
Dr Mog (AASB)
Aria (USB)

Rydia does most of the work but honestly they can all hit hard. I tried using Lunafreya as well instead of Aria since I have her AASB but it gets dicey for healing that way. I actually kinda just brute force the pillars and kill them and just Arise/Reraise the killer as needed. Helps that you only have to do this three times and doing it at the start of the fight is simple to do without losing tempo-- the other thing that helps is that Rydia Sync Command 2 seems tailor made for this fight because you can wipe the pillars with it and she can use her damage shields to tank the counters.

Strago getting berserked seems to be the problem but I can probably get around that if I played the gimmick a bit better. Lot of moving parts in the fight it seems.

The good news is his Awakening and G+ both return next fest but his sync does not. So if you have the sync you can still draw for the other ones.

Man, Zalera is still tough. I got him below 10% which is better than before, but phase 3 is rough and Orran doesn't really have the same healing capabilities as someone like Elarra. I might need to go 2 white mage and use one of them to cast holyja plus emergency medica duty. I would like fastcast from Marche and the damage would be even lower... but things are going decently fast with Orran's HA and TG Cid always being in thunder god mode.

Ah bummer I just checked to see if Orran's Awakening was in the 6th anniversary stamp selection but it's not. Phooey!

Well I guess I'll try to make due with him later, maybe he can help me beat physical Ramuh. At the very least I can try to sub10 some more 5* magicite for fun I suppose, physical felt like it's at a disadvantage because of no Allegro but Orran's HA is the next best thing.
