I'm into it a little bit this month. I think after Halloween I might skip around to finish off the museum and then take a break until the winter update or whatever.

I found a big fish island so I guess I'm just camping here for however long it takes, lol. Annoyingly I've gotten 3 mahi-mahi so far (which I didn't need anymore of) and 0 giant trevally.

I had to do a lot of scrambling today to stock up on bugs and fish leaving this month. A whole bunch of them were the really common ones that I never felt the need to collect before, because I could just do it anytime. Well this was that anytime, and it's amazing how uncommon those stink bugs and things can be when you're actively hunting them down.

That shouldn't be an issue, should it? It was at 2 AM on Sunday, so if anyone still had turnips at that point they'd be ruined regardless.

Well, by default the Switch doesn't automatically change the time. There's an option to do it, but some people, particularly new Switch owners, won't know that and will change it manually. Two issues can think of: 1) Someone buys turnips, sees that their time is wrong and goes to fix it, and forgets or doesn't realize it will destroy their turnips. Or 2) they don't realize their Switch clock is off until it's too late and are an hour late to buy.

Maybe not that big a deal, it's just something I've been thinking of. I had to warn a friend who's new to AC and didn't know these things and was wondering how many others could be affected. This game brought it a LOT of new players who have never played it before.

Woo, finished my hours of balloon farming. Got all 9 maple DIYs. Put the bounty arch in Huck's yard, and put the (disappointingly small) "big" bounty tree in my little gated community.
