Trailer seems minimal compared to past updates that also included some kind of long-term secondary feature. Like there's new reactions, but that seems about it.

But those Sanrio cards have my hopes up that a large 2.0 update is coming in March. I just hope those six(?) villagers will just be some of many that are getting added in, but I also feel like I know better than to get too excited. It's still so weird that this new game, after 7 years since the last one, only added in 8 new villagers. Give me another new species or two and another personality type or two, plz.

Yeah it's cool they put a lot of variety in the horns/antlers of the various deer villagers. Fit in a bunch of different species in there.

I have an anteater and another kangaroo coming before long. No ducks yet, but I'd love to see Molly show up.

So what's the fastest way to get villager photos?

There are some villagers I wouldn't mind leaving but I want to get their photo first.

Oh wait, I found out. Looks like it's just to keep giving them gifts until the return gift is their photo.

Yeah, gifting them something worth at least 750 bells every day is the way I do it.

Apparently the odds are a tiny bit better if you completely fill your inventory and gift them something from a stack. This will cause them to send your return gift in the mail, and I guess it's slightly more likely to be a photo that way. I think the gift only has to be worth at least 250 that way, too.

Those are posters, not the same thing. The photos are little framed pictures of them that can be displayed on tables/outside or on the wall.

No idea but they make up the bulk of what I still need too. There are 35 crafter/bottle DIYs I'm missing, and 20 of them are flower crowns/wreaths.

15/19 here. The only easier way I can think of is by trading them with others, and even then you have to hope you can find someone who doesn't have one of the ones you have.
