I think part of that is that some series of furniture were demoted to customized colours.

Yeah I was wondering why I never saw any of the Kiddie furniture and then I found out it was a customized of the wooden block set.

I've let half my island just rot until this upcoming update. I started a "scary" corner but after the grave scarecrow and skeleton-in-a-cage, there wasn't enough to really flesh it out. So I'm really happy for this.

I love the pumpkins but I am a little bummed that here we are a half year after the game came out and we still haven't really reached all the features of the the last animal crossing game. Nor have we seen a single QoL upgrade. (besides them putting an official way to do the camera glitch they removed)

I'm not one of those annoying people who thinks that we should be able to craft multiple items at once, but this game was clearly designed with local multiplayer in mind, with online as an afterthought. Considering this game owes its gargantuan success to people playing online, you think they would make SOMETHING about it more bearable. Like clean up Orville's menu, it's all I ask.

At this rate I don't think we're going to get much for QoL upgrades, or at least none of the upgrades that people have been asking for since launch.

Well I'm pretty sure points are cumulative over the various contests (I know for a fact I didn't get 200 last month when I got the silver trophy), so I theoretically should've only needed a little less than 100 points today to get the gold trophy, but I didn't notice the dialogue pop up for it. I guess I might've overlooked it while mashing A, but I'm just going for a clean 300 just to be sure. At 245 now.

Hasn't been too bad. I thought it'd be a pain without the cicadas and tree beetles, but there's been an abundance of yellow/common/monarch/tiger butterflies and the various hopping bugs that I've still been averaging around 10 per round.

That's it, I'm fucking done. I've been fishing for hours for the past few days and I still haven't seen the five fish I've been missing for this month. I'm not sure if there's an error with the guides or what, but they have not been showing up at all. Some of them are super common too. I caught so many of them before, but I forgot to donate them to the museum (for the most part, I think I had caught them during the Fishing Tourney and accidentally sold them, and didn't realize it until very late). Looks like I'm not going to complete the museum. Fuck me.

So it turns out I'm an idiot, I had three out of the five sitting in storage in my house and I forgot about it.

I'm still mad that I didn't fish any of them up in the past few nights, but caught around 9 Arowanas/Arapaimas and a half dozen hammerheads. I still need the Birchir and Saw Shark left. The Birchir is going to be hell.

Also we actually got a QoL update! You can hide "not for sale" items in the catalog now.

Most of the issues occurred when I did a fishing tourney with a big group of people on someone else's island months ago. I couldn't donate anything while over there, over the course of the day it became really hard to keep track of what was new and what wasn't, and up until recently if you checked your Critterpedia while on someone else's Island it wouldn't show the museum tags for ANY of your creatures. So a lot of catches got lost in the confusion, and I didn't realize it because every time I caught them again it wouldn't trigger the yes message.

First pumpkin harvest, but sadly I didn't get any greens. I dug up a bunch of oranges and planted new starts in their places though, so hopefully next time. But now I've got four pieces of spooky furniture around the island. Looks good! Helps that today is really dark and stormy.

Bought a bunch of turnips today. Won't be able to do this every week as I've had to work Sundays quite a bit this year, but if I get a nice profit off these they'll jumpstart my character in a big way.

And I now have a third frog villager, with Diva starting and Puddles later, they've been joined by Cousteau now, oui oui.

I guess Pietro is growing on me a bit; I really like his whimsical carnival house interior.
