Whew, I caught 4 gigas giant clams before finally catching a vampire squid. This is why you don't wait until the last day of a month to check what's leaving when the new month rolls over. Glad I finished catching all the coconut tree beetles last week.

On the flip-side, I'm now all caught up on deep-sea creatures....for half an hour.

Ive done about 25 hours of diving (TT to stay in August) and no vampire squid. Diving is fun but theres nothing I can do to improve my odds.

Vladimir is in boxes. I've literally never seen anyone else ever talk about him, so I gather he's rather unpopular, which is a shame.

But I'm getting another Sisterly finally. Diva the purple frog. She's just okay, but given how bad a lot of the Sisterlies are, I'm calling this a win. And it only took three tries to get her to name one of the two villagers I was willing to let leave.

If you have the Fishing Rod, be sure to catch the Salmon and King Salmon before the month ends because they're ONLY around during September.

Since there's only about a week left of September, it might not be a bad idea to make sure you catch whatever is around until the end of September before October rolls over.

Aww, I guess RNG is a slight factor in your birthday presents from the animals. I gave out all the cupcakes, but one of them just gave me a normal item in return. No birthday cake for me. :(

Ok, I caught the salmon and king salmon.

Day 2 I got blathers the stuff he needed for a museum, and got the shop taken care of.
Day 3 I set up the three sites for new villagers (Simon will be one based on the sign) and paid off the first house loan.

Storage is full of critters that blathers may or may not be interested in.

I saw someone suggest there aren't any more Nook upgrades yet because there's so little furniture compared to past games that there isn't much point to a shop with a bigger inventory. I agree. So we need a big furniture update before another shop upgrade would make sense. I'm just really surprised they haven't been gradually adding new normal furniture during these updates. It's just extra themes and DIYs from the special visitors basically. =/

But anyway aww yeah pumpkin farming. But where the fuck am I going to put my patch? D:

I think part of that is that some series of furniture were demoted to customized colours.
