It's impressive the labels saying not for human use and extremely toxic to worms, algae, and etc labels didn't cue her in to the fact that her soda dilution might not be enough.

I mean, are we even sure it didn't work? There is at least a 50% success rate at preventing the Coronavirus from infecting them. And, for all we know, the soda is the cause of death here.

i was just going sugar, water, and salt range of teaspoon to gram. being that this is a cleaner i checked powered bleach: 1 tsp = 10g.

so i could be wrong by a significant amount - in the sense that this is MORE poisonous than that.

Non peer reviewed studies now that state that a lot of people probably went undetected as asymptomatic and that upwards of even 70+% may be asymptomatic. Possibly China even reached herd immunity.

Also, possible it mutated to a less deadlier form per Singapore.

The Iceland study, Italian town study, and Diamond Princess possibly confirm the above non peer reviewed study.

Of note, co-infection with the flu is 22%, which makes me wonder if Hoiberg had the Coronavirus also.

Many are question if serum testing for antibodies is the smart thing to do because we might have a lot of people who have already silently recovered from the disease than we thought.

And I've said it before, we've stopped testing most of the population that isn't highly symptomatic. It is so much worse than the numbers show.

Its less how deadly and more how much it may be spreading.

More I think about this I wonder if my cousin had this in the middle of November. He had "community pneumonia". The doctors said if he hadn't come into the hospital when he did that he would have died. He needed oxygen and breathing tubes given to him for him to recover. His oxygen levels were low. He was extremely fatigued with a fever and a cough. Etc etc.

• people breaking the rules will be fined (400).

A 100 new cases in Indonesia today, we broke 600. Soon it'll be 1000 and then MAYBE the gov would actually grow balls and halt non-essential businesses. I have a creeping feeling we'll actually get it worse than Italy due to our higher population, less health infrastructure and awareness, and just general dumbassery.

They're trying to say Italy's the source now because a med expert said doctor's over there found an odd pneumonia in December, even November. That must mean they had it before China did!

... even though December cases wouldn't be that surprising.

(China would've still had it earlier than that, more recent info pegs October/November now, even state media goes mid November.)

Saw an article about how health officials in Spain investigating nursing homes they could not get in contact with. Turns out some nursing homes were just left abandoned by the staff with residents still inside. They found several residents dead in their bed and others living in squalor. First kind of article I saw about societal breakdown, even if minor.

The world is incredibly fortunate this pandemic isn't as deadly to the general population as it is to the elderly. Could you imagine? We could have literally been on the verge of global societal collapse. Kind of surreal to think about.

Edit: I know the world will recover from this, but just hypothesizing how this could have been the KO punch had this been a 20-30% death rate rather than 2-3%.

20-30% death rate likely wouldn't have been able to spread as much.

The anecdotes of people feeling ill and suspecting COVID-19 are so frustrating because there could be truth to them, but there are some issues that need to be contended with in those cases.

Most states are reporting significantly higher negative tests than positive. Especially widespread disease like what is being said would be lighting up on asymptomatic people far more than these are showing. My own state is sitting at 290 positives on 4,470 tests (source: https://covidtracking.com/data/ )

The only other possibility to corroborate the anecdotes is that the majority of these negatives have already somehow cleared infection, in which case an antibody test would obviously be far more helpful. It's implausible, but given the enormous suspected variability in people's responses to infection, I guess it would have to be considered.
