We always hear about the same 5 or 6 shows, but which shows that are maybe known but not suggested enough do you suggest to others?

Definitely a good choice. Person of Interest was an incredible show and deserved a lot more buzz.

It's a follow up to some fun but cheesy tv movies from like the early 2000s starring Noah Wyle's character.

And yeah I can see it being a bit like Warehouse 13 but more fantasy while w13 can be more scifi.

I've always had a soft spot for The Weather Channel's original programming, even as a kid. When I tell people this, though, they're often surprised to hear that TWC even has original content.

From what I've seen, Storm Stories is their best program. I also really liked When Weather Changed History, and So You Think You'd Survive is a fun newer one.

Yeah, WH13 is more steampunk SCI-FI while Librarians is more Fantasy. Both shows features magical items that must be kept by an ancient group. WH13 just trends more toward History, while Librarians (as their name suggests) trends more toward literature. (Though both have H.G. Wells time machines)

Noah Wyle only appeared in about half the episodes I think. I really liked the one with Santa Claus.

Yeah they basically brought him in to sell the show and for big events since he was the star of the original movies. I know fans of those were disappointed he wasnt a full time member of the cast.

And that's a really good comparison of the two shows. They do have really similar basic concepts, hadn't really thought of it like that.

It's gonna sound ridiculous but

Bojack Horseman

Because yes loads of people I know on the internet love it and yes Twitter and various review sites like it too, but I don't know one single person irl who has watched it or heard of it. Except my housemate.

Also Ozark I guess which I enjoy a decent amount but isn't mind-blowing or anything

Aggrestsuko is (or was) 100% talked about. The big issue is that it's anime that was netflixed so everyone who saw it had already talked about it. Anime, even some great anime like it, has a very short shelf life in the realm of public influence.

There was a show that only went 12 episodes called The Finder. It was technically a spinoff of Bones since they did a backdoor pilot as an episode of Bones before actually making the show, so characters from that show do appear sometimes, but it's really just it's own thing that could have just sprung up on it's own.

It's about a dude who finds things for you. He's got a gift. You ask him to find something and he'll go get it. Could be a trophy you won in 8th grade and then lost, could be a bullet for a murder 20 years ago, could be your keys you just lost. He'll figure it out.

It's basically another "procedural based around a quirky genius" type of show but i find Walter EXTREMELY likeable so I loved this show.

I really wish it had taken off for a couple seasons.

I'm wary with the CW superhero shows.

Didn't come close to finishing season 1 if Legends. Not sure I even watched half if it.

Was out of Flash by the end of the second season because I got tired of the only recurring theme on the show being "How much can we torture Barry Allen".

Arrow's third season was legendarily bad and eventually I skipped a bunch of episodes to the end.

Then I kept hearing (especially here) how much better season four got after the first couple of episodes and gave it another chance. I didn't finish season 4 at all.

This is the first time I've ever seen someone talking about Legends in any positive light at all that I can remember

I will second that Legends is amazing and a beacon of creativity in the realm of comic book shows. It doesn't take it itself too seriously, they get so much mileage out of characters you would least expect like Mick with incredible hidden depths, and the range of genres they explore from Kaiju to slashers to rom-coms is just amazing and keeps the show so fresh. Plus, it has Constantine as a main cast member, I mean what more can you want.
