This morning SCOTUS decided not to expedite the ACA case so it's unlikely to be decided until after the election. Which is obviously a transparent attempt to protect Trump from the fallout of his administration literally arguing to kill the ACA, kick millions off health insurance, and remove protections for those with pre-existing conditions in the middle of an election.

Yeah we're kind of in a said state of affairs where having NPD is an asset. I actually think it was a mistake (politically) for Bernie to apologize for the Biden corruption op-ed. Apologizing is always seen as a form of weakness, even by most of the left. Doubling down and gaslighting is how you win the day.

I don't see how this is irreconcilable with Tulsi getting a boost in notoriety from the media, polarizing the people who are now informed of her antics, and getting enough of a bump in polling to make one last debate. It just didn't last.

So you're telling me a candidate who went from almost nothing to a low polling but potentially viable candidate with the only difference being Hillary's attack is now, two months later, doing worse and it's not due to multiple other factors or that bump fading away because it's been two months? She surged immediately after. It wasn't sustainable as nothing major happened. That's fully expected. If Bernie gets a similar surge, he wins Iowa. That IS sustainable and a huge deal, especially with him off the road.

Back to 53-47 on the final amendment which was to have Roberts rule on the relevancy of evidence and witnesses and if finding them so to issue a subpoena (such a decision would still be something that could be overruled by a majority vote in the Senate but this would have the Republicans having to overrule the Chief Justice if he found that a certain subpoena was relevant to the case)

Now we're onto the final vote which is McConnell's rules.
