This isn't an appellate court. There's no lower court to remand the case to. There's no higher court to seek the guidance of. There's no way to punt like a normal court does.

the idea that conservatives - not even all of the right, just conservatives - have no brains is no better than when you have people say liberals have no brains. neither statement is productive. that's not a position found in political alignment as much as basic humanity.

no, the argument is i think he's overextended himself and is going to get reamed for it with broken policies, potentially laws, and will be found to have been corrupt. i would not call any politician that has that under his neck as "really good." now if he manages to survive the next 2-3 years, hey, he was better than i thought. but i don't think that's gonna particularly happen. but hey, feel free to call me out on that if he makes it through that time.

...i feel we're arguing around each other on this one. the post was he's good at his job. i disagree because i think he's gonna be out of that job within the next few years due to valid reasons, the speed of it due to it being dug into hard by the right. if you want to go who cares to that... sure? if you see his job being less member of congress and more attack dog then again, he's great. but it's not his literal job.

i get that this is a sales pitch by you but this is legit part of his crossover appeal. the only three candidates who ever showed any significant (as in, double digit) crossover support were Tusli, Yang, and Bernie. they also are the only ones that have purposefully and repeatedly gone out of their way to not demonize or dehumanize a significant chunk of the population. turns out, that works at bringing people together.
