Even looking beyond the results, there was Noura being dumb at the challenge and Karishma being batshit.

Plus Karishma didn't even have to play her idol. The stage is set for a coup of the underdogs. It won't happen. I really, really think we're looking at a Tommy/Lauren/Dan F3 here.

So before I get started on the rankdown, I want to point out a few things. Most of this has to do with the small sample size.

First off, there were a shit ton of ties; gigantic ties. I could have figured out ways to break the ties, but I elected not to and it would have taken me like a year to do. They will be presented as ties, and listed from most recent season-earliest season, lowest game placement-highest game placement.

Also, not everyone voted on every season. In fact, only seven seasons received a vote on every ballot - One World, Philippines, Blood vs. Water, Cagayan, San Juan del Sur, Cambodia, and Game Changers (one ballot elected not to vote in anything up through Redemption Island, although I highly doubt that individual has not seen any of those seasons, I counted the ballot anyway).

I did discard one ballot from a user I didn't recognize and appeared to have voted largely randomly (with some highly questionable votes and many seasons voted with a string of the same number).

I mean yeah these three straight up make it the best season.

My top 3 for All-Stars are Ethan, Shii-Ann, and Jenna M, largely for being the only ones that I didn't like significantly less than in their original seasons (Ethan and Jenna were improvements and Shii-Ann was roughly the same, maybe slightly worse).

By the way I'm almost done with my TAR10 rewatch and.... it's incredible just how much Dustin & Kandice carry the second half of the season. I'm thoroughly uninteresting in watching the finale now that they are out and pretty much the only thing making me want to is knowing that they are back the next season.

I am sensing an overall pattern that people that were actively disliked are lower than people that were invisible. And that's fine, I don't blame you, I just personally prefer the people I dislike over people that I am neutral about or bored by because they at least made me feel something. If I have to go "who is that again?" I would rank them lower.

Rob played way better and screw that bitter jury but at the same time I think it will be really cool seeing them play together as a married couple. Sure there was BvW seasons but this will be totally unique and I'm pretty pumped for it.

The thing is, there are two ways Rob could have won - cut Amber at 3 and take Jenna (Shii Ann said at the reunion that she would have voted for him over her), or just try harder to get Shii Ann's vote on the spot. She was arguably the least bitter juror (maybe Rupert) and her vote was well enough up for grabs that he could have done more to try and get it. I think he knew he had Rupert and Jenna for sure, and that Lex and Alicia were lost causes. Tom was a lost cause, but Rob didn't see it that way and so he focused his energy on trying to get that one instead of the ones that were still up for grabs.

And TAR10 rewatch is done and, oof. That was a rough one. While it's not the worst season I've rewatched so far, it's not anything close to good. Almost every team that had the potential to be fun and likable was eliminated in the first few episodes, leaving Dustin & Kandice to carry the second half of the season on their shoulders.

Wanda was memorable and kinda fun/quirky.
