WickIebee 09/04/19 3:14:27 PM #1:	Welcome to another exciting ladder contest with your new host, me. Sorry for delay on first posting this topic, meant to do it yesterday but got busy. First off, I'd like to honor last year's winner, MartinFF7, being the sole person to get to Level 11. Not many bonuses, but a leeway between him and the next guy since the next guy only got to Level 9. For those new to this series, the Ladder contest is basically everyone starts at the base of a "ladder" and each rung of the ladder (called Levels) has something to guess on to try and get correct. I'm confused on how to word that correctly. Every week you get a correct answer to the level, you move up the ladder to the next one. You must answer the level that you're on, you don't have to answer any below you and you don't answer any above you to skip a rung. I'm sure a veteran can help me explain that better, I just took over, ya know? A few ground rules: -Please say which level you are on when you post your pick. In most cases it will be obvious, but this makes it easier for me to record the picks. -The deadline to make a pick is at the start of the second set of games on Sunday afternoon (4:25 PM ET). That means no SNF/MNF picks after most all the games have started or finished. You cannot pick a game that has already started. -The deadline to answer the bonus question is at the start of games on Sunday (1 PM ET). -Please post the spreads with your picks, it makes it much easier for me. -I get my spreads from an online site providing lines from several sources, both in Vegas and out. Although these sources may continue to change their lines throughout the week, the ones I post in the topic are frozen and final for our purposes. New- You know how we always have those bonus points? Sometimes they have no use if you're stuck on something like Level 5 all year, so I shall add this new rule. You may use bonus points to skip any level after it is guaranteed you cannot pass it (at the end of the week's games, typically). The price for skipping is in proportion to the level you are skipping. Skipping level 1 would take 1 bonus point, level 2 will take 2, level 5 will take 5. So on and so forth. Explanation of Levels: Level 1: Pick a winner. Simply pick one team to win their game. If they win, you go on to level 2.
