I feel like it would be better to let the market fall now and then orchestrate a strong rally next fall. They did the same thing to exclude Mike Gravel, who made the number of donors and polled at 1% in certain polls, just not the ones they arbitrarily decides count. And back in 2008 the DNC also arbitrarily changed the rules to exclude Dennis Kucinich from the debates, when it was "top 4 candidates" and then Bill Richardson dropped out, they changed it to top 3 candidates.
