Not sure anyone else checked it out, but I watched Isekai Quartet. It was pretty good! Was generally very funny, and maximized the humor for pretty much all the properties. There's a lot of neat touches that I didn't even catch at first because of the show not focusing on them, but it felt like they really understood the appeal of all four series, and all four of them were used a good amount (though it felt like ReZero was the least focused on, I guess since the protagonist is the most, uh, normal of the four?). The show only had a couple weaknesses. First, it kept the characters from each series to themselves too much. This isn't a big deal in the classroom scenes, which make up a good part of the show, because every character from every series is there, but outside of that there are lots of scenes where it's just the Konosuba crew or just the Overlord crew. These scenes are often funny regardless, but my favorite parts where the ones where characters from different series interacted. Demiurge/Kazuma/Tanya's Disciplinary Committee scenes were absolutely amazing, for example. Some jokes were just plain great even without those interactions though, like Yunyun being the only person in her class, and making up stories about her being bullied because that's the closest thing she can imagine to actually having friends. Will definitely check out S2.

Curious what series they'll be adding though, since the ending implied we'd be getting a new crew. Hopefully something unique and interesting, since all four crews here were from fairly unique/good shows.

I dont think Ive watched a single series thats part of Isekai Quartet so Ive never been bothered to check it out

I enjoyed Isekai Quartet a ton. Def interested in seeing what S2 does.

So this is actually my for real first time watching Evangelion.

I can see what all the hype was about. This is fantastic. I can only imagine to a generation that had literally never seen anime before, how enthralled they would've been. The art style is so great and I'm in love with Misato already.

Kochoki ep1 - aka the 10 billionth Nobunaga anime. I guess when they description said a bold take on Nobunaga what they really meant was making a super boring Nobunaga anime. He was a kid in this, wore glasses sometimes and uh thats about it. Easy drop.

Arifureta ep1 - lmao what a disaster. The premise in the description is basically completely skipped so the whole class is already in the different world. One girl randomly cares about the MC, but since everything is skipped all you know is shes a classmate of his. One of the classmates tries to kill MC-kun, but not in the way you might be thinking and then his personality does a 180 and he just decides hes gonna murder everything and everyone that gets in the way of him going home. The presentation was a jumbled mess and I laughed at how bad the show was a couple times.

Lol yeah this one was a joke.

I decided not to drop Sacred Beasts just yet and that may be because of how much better it looked next to Arifureta.

The Ones Within ep1 - Some Lets Players get taken to a game world and need to hit 100M views because their lives depend on it. The llama head guy called Mr. Paka doesnt explain too much to them because I guess it wants to have an air of mystery too, but I actually kinda liked this. Im curious to see more at least which already makes it the best premiere Ive watched today.

Continuing Hitoribocchi now and its so good

Hitoribocchi is a lot of fun. Unfortunately I'm light on fluffy/SoL shows again now it's over, since this season is quite shounen/action heavy. I'm also a bit burned out on Monogatari, more than I thought I would be, but there's not much of it left to go. I'll see if I can't pick up something else before I finish that, maybe going to try and find a rare shoujo I haven't seen which isn't trash, or just another SoL without much drama.

Magical Senpai Ep1 - I refuse to spell it the way the title does because it looks stupid. Its rare for me to say this, but this wouldve been better if it was shorter and its already half the normal episode length. Main girl who is basically just called Senpai without a name also has a weird lip fang. Like not a fang thats a tooth, but literally part of her lip is shaped like a fang and its distracting. This wasnt very funny either. Oh well. The porn the main girl gets will be better than the show as long as they dont include the lip fang

Are You Lost? Ep1 - Haha Homares (main girl) dad taught her how to survive as a kid and even had her eat moose testicles. Oh man first thing she did when the main girls all got stranded is kill a fish and drink its blood and organ fluids. XFD she was gonna have another girl drink her piss since she was thirsty. This was pretty amusing and I want more already. I wish it was longer.

To The Abandoned Sacred Beasts Ep1 - Not too bad. So the military creates super soldiers aka human/monster hybrids in a way that isnt really explained other than that they were just created. They fight for one side of the war and the people on their side view them as gods because its basically like what if the American Civil War was normal and then suddenly there were goddamn dragons, werewolves and other crazy beasts. The catch is they are slowly losing their humanity and at any time they could go full blown beast and just kill indiscriminately. The episode had to rush some to get to the actual part of the premise the series will be focused on aka the main guy and a girl hunting down the rogue beast people (she wont really be around until ep2 though), but Im interested to see another episode or two at least. The funniest thing is the bad guy is literally named Cain Madhouse.
