Finished Astra. What a delightful surprise. I'm super hooked, and the best part is I have no idea where this is gonna go. Of the three premeirs so far that have been any good (not including the O Maidens preview), this is absolutely the best one.

Trish as Haru yea I dig it, main character from Golden Kamuy as Legosi which I haven't watched yet but I listened to some clips and yea it seems like a decent enough fit. He can get fairly deep which is good for Legosi.

Knocked out Dr. Stone first. Fantastic work here, glad fans are getting what seems to be such an excellent adaptation. Still wasn't enthralled with the manga, so I probably won't really follow this until it gets past the parts I've read.

so a few years back I checked the to see if NisioisiN was done with Monogatari and found out that only Monogatari Off Season was in the works and now it appears there's Monster Season as well

I'm looking at Shaft's current production speed and I think we'll never even get through Off Season if they're going to make them into movies or some shit >_>

by the time they finish animating Off Season we'll hopefully have Organized Team Activities, Training Camp, Pre Season, Regular Season, Post Season and then Superbowl

And I think the pacing has been great mostly. Maybe sometimes they try to end with cliffhangers too often but its cool

Not saying the OP is bad, quite the opposite, but there's absolutely no chance they don't do an OP to show off the crew.

I am curious about your opinion on the pacing. Have you read the manga? I personally think the pacing is pretty slow even in a vaccum, but as a manga reader it's been pretty rough for me. I started feeling it about half way through, but last week's episode was probably the worst about it.

I don't remember the early stuff too well so I'm mostly judging it on its own merits.

I'll say this last three episode arc has felt a little padded. Zenitsu's "comedy" scenes and flashbacks or were stretched too long or repeated scenes entirely.

I think it's gonna work really well with later arcs though so I'm not worried.
