All this talk of Toronto never winning anything... Are y'all just younger than me? I was old enough to remember the Blue Jays winning back to back titles in the 90s. It's been 25 years, but still within the realm of "in our lifetime".

Well I can't speak for the others but I haven't lived in Toronto all my life. And even then, the Jays winning when you're a kid is just a different world than as an adult.

Of course, Toronto has won, just not the sports or titles that really count... the Rock (lacrosse), Marlies (minor league hockey), Toronto FC (soccer), Argos (Canadian Football League). But yeah, nothing like this.

Much of the Toronto never wins culture is the Maple Leafs which even now is still the big one.

This Raptors frenzy and the Jays recent playoff years were huge in Toronto. Raptors especially, man it's crazy how many people were into it.

But at the end of the day, until the Leafs win a cup, Toronto will always have that stigma of loser city. Despite winning nearly every other title in a 25 year span.

Also thanks to the Blues win, the Leafs stand alone as longest drought.

Iirc Durant can choose to stay if he wants so that part is entirely up to him. Idk the nature of Klay's contract however.

Durant has a player option. Klay is a true FA

Durant leaving always seemed like media drumming up something that didnt necessarily exist.

Klay is staying more than likely but this might give them some non-max wiggle room
