I mean I already made my point on why I think Panth is scum. Hes basically done nothing but post novels about either a or b is true what do you think? I havent even seen him do anything when people have responded. Like he outlines some logic that makes people think that makes sense then he never follows it up. Until today when he finally drew some votes and surprise surprise its me he thinks is scum who has been almost unanimously called the weakest and most irrelevant player left in the game. Though red still seems to think Im planning on bussing Panth and going solo. Panth votes me Like I said he would in my early posts. He basically did nothing until his neck was on the line then he simply counter voted and threw the same nonsense out.

Player experience is absolutely a factor here. There is no way Id be comfortable enough to try and manipulate you, red, corrik, zero and igcd for the remainder of the game and I dare say that the other scum players would never have let that happen. It would be an absolute suicide play by scum if there was only myself and Panth left for me to bus him. Like logically it doesnt make any sense at all for me to do that. It makes even less sense for me to do that and then lay out that exact scenario to you at the same time

Well if you respect my experience so much, just take my word for it then in saying that your logic is very flawed in that thinking.

How is that logic flawed. Are you telling me if you were scum youd be green lighting the least experienced player to bus a teammate and just hope he can manipulate 4 or 5 much more experienced players without making a single slip? And that youd also have him literally lay out that plan for everyone to see while he did it?

The idea of scum members "greenlighting" plays by other scum is basically a myth. That argument gets mentioned so often in games and it's almost never founded on reality. You can't control what your scummates do. Arguments like "Experience player X would never allow a newbie teammate to do what they just did" are pretty useless mostly.

That's not to mention the fact that if you are scum with panth the team is Tom, eaed, Panth, you, so not exactly anyone I'd consider a team leader. So your whole point about that is just moot, basically.

And the point about "leaving just me to manipulate 4 or 5 players" is also very flimsy because a single scum in 5 players doesn't necessarily need to manipulate anyone. Just act innocent and town manipulates themselves.

For the record I've seen many a scum team go down in a spiral nosedive because they all get stuck bussing each other and don't know how to pull themselves out of it.

Its basically exactly what I accused puns of doing when he said how can him and Panth be scum together when he was on Panth before he switched but imo the play makes sense a lot more if its puns and Panth than Panth and I.

The other angle to consider here, by the way, is this.

Panth seems to be going down today. That's just the vibe of the room. So does 5tar stand more to gain my bussing him to hell, or by avoiding his lynch? It would likely seem far more suspicious if, say, me, igcd, corrik, and red lynched panth while 5tar was insisting on someone else.

Scum do not always have the luxury of getting away with not bussing.

So your saying if you and Panth are scum teammates you would be trying to draw attention away from Panth and onto an easier lynch? Which Im guessing would be me seen as the alternatives are gladiator, tracker, Miller and red. Is that not exactly what your doing?

I'd say I never shy away from bussing. Especially early, day 1-2. It's the easiest way to fake genuine content. I wouldn't say that I just do it all the time simply because I can.

But in this scenario there are multiple targets who would be easier to fake genuine content against than Panth. Corrik? Lol. I could come up with a million things to say there. Same for red.

Maybe I'm just town because that is what town should be doing so I'm doing it and we should pursue simpler solutions that are easier to explain than inverting reality to where the least logical explanation is the one we place our bets on

panth's posts were...eye opening, to say the least. The only thing that would shift anything in my mind is him flipping town. But considering I'm pretty sure everyone in the game is on board with lynching him, that seems impossible. every post he makes involving tom/eaed is so noticeably different from his tone on everything else.

If 5tar simply joins panth and me and mzero on you or red today, they get the mislynch and probably win the following day. By Panth bussing 5tar and him refusing to vote with Panth, it basically ensures they lose the game if they are a team.
