Fire Emblem is only recently a weeb series anyway and as much as I like those 3DS ones I'm hopeful that the switch one will get them back to the old FE storytelling style. If not I'll still probably put in 100 hours but ya know

What is the deal with La Croix? I'm in this Slack group where people post job postings sometimes and the other day there was one that mentioned the office having free La Croix, complete with a La Croix emoji even.

Like I'm not trying to hate on if you drink it, but why is it a "thing" for millennials? I've tried it and it just tastes like any other unsweetened flavored sparkling water, which has been around since at least when I was a kid

Hasnt it been around forever? I don't really like it, but my uncle with diabetes drinks it. I've seen it at their house for as long as I can remember. A lot of people who drink it use it as a soda substitute to avoid the sugar/aspartame

Apparently it's from Wisconsin and has been around a long time. I sort of remember seeing people drink it there when I'd visit family back before it was a big thing. So ironically despite my last post I wouldn't be surprised if Wii3 is the biggest La Croix fan of all

These jobs like that are funny to me, like some of them are so insufferably millennial that it reads like a parody. But then there are still the Office Space-y ones on the other end of the spectrum, and not enough in-between. Given the choice between extremes though I'd probably take the millennial one any day

Also, the question already passed and I haven't really played Smash since Brawl (and mostly just loved Melee a lot) but I always used a GC controller and never used the c stick. I also always tapped x to jump, never up on the d-pad. I probably played like this because of some youtube guide or because the pros did it that way or something but it stuck with me.

I guess you could consider Into the Breach as one too in a way. One of the best games released this year, and one of the most satisfying to really dig into and figure out. I never played on hard, but I won like 3 campaigns in a row on normal at one point and it felt pretty damn good.

I've also posted plenty about Enter the Gungeon, which is tons of fun but too hard for little old me. I also wish it had online co-op instead of just couch, but that's life

I forgot Into The Breach came out, I really should buy that now.

Do we know that they're playing him at first base for sure? They're letting DJ LeMahieu walk. There are some young guys coming up in the middle infield which I think is part of why they're letting DJ go, but if recent history is any indication the Rockies would rather just give playing time to vets.

I just hope they can somehow manage to find somebody willing to eat Desmond's contract. I think this shows a potential willingness to move on which is good, but it won't be easy to offload that money without a sacrifice

Damn, I got ripped off, I bought Bouncy Bob for 14 cents, now it's 1? I don't know why I bought it at all. Back when I had XBL Gold I'd skip over many of the free titles if they didn't interest me, and those were like... actual games. I guess something about being really cheap makes it more appealing than just free.

Anyways, it's fucking atrocious. The worst thing about it is that it isn't even interestingly bad. Like it appears to technically "function" as it should, but it's just shitty. It plays like a Flash game somebody would've made 15 years ago that you'd turn off after five minutes
