Also, the question already passed and I haven't really played Smash since Brawl (and mostly just loved Melee a lot) but I always used a GC controller and never used the c stick. I also always tapped x to jump, never up on the d-pad. I probably played like this because of some youtube guide or because the pros did it that way or something but it stuck with me. --- ...
