I want to say it was the Patriots comeback against the Falcons but I didn't actually witness most of it live because I turned the game off.

I came back right before they tied it though so I seen the best parts.

For me personally it was just being at Paul Konerko's last game after a life of playing for one team, the White Sox. I watched as he drew his kids initials in the dirt while the umpire allowed it.

I also brought my dog to the game in 2016 where we set the record for most dogs at a sporting event with 1,122.

The 2008 Wimbledon final is a great answer.

I'm going to throw this moment out as well. I wouldn't necessarily rank it ahead of a bunch of things mentioned in this topic, but as far as pure excitement goes, this game, and this particular moment, were amazing:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-Q7i1gz9ks" data-time="

This was game 1 of the 2008 western conference quarterfinals, featuring the Spurs (3rd seed) against the Suns (6th seed). I remember that in spite of the fact that the Spurs were seeded higher, it seemed like most people were predicting the Suns to win the series. Perhaps people just thought that it was the Suns' time to reverse their misfortune against the Spurs (I believe the Spurs eliminated the Suns in 2003, 2005, and 2007). I can't remember for certain how most of regulation went, but I think Phoenix led most of the game. They were up by 3 at the end of the fourth quarter, but Michael Finley sunk a 3 at the buzzer to send it to overtime. At the end of overtime, it was the same situation: Suns up by 3. So the Spurs draw up a play that gets the ball to TIM DUNCAN to shoot a 3...and he nailed it! You can hear the surprise in the announcer's voice as the ball gets over to Duncan. The Suns weren't even guarding him. Anyways, that sends the game to double overtime, where the Spurs pull out the win (and go on to win the series).

A lot of basketball games get incredibly boring at the end, with constant fouling to stop the clock. This game was not boring at all.

Tears everytime I watch this video. Particularly the end where it cuts then-England manager Venables consoling Southgate after Southgate's penalty miss in 1996 together with now-England manager Southgate celebrating the shootout win with Dier

Amazing bit of video editing.

In person

A random Oklahoma-Baylor basketball game where in overtime we hit a few threes to make a comeback, and then took a 1 point lead on a 4 point play, and then watched the other team miss two free throws with 1 second left to win

Just the perfection of those two moments together Ill never forget

(I was also at the famous OU-Davidson game that featured Curry scoring 48 and Blake Griffin having a huge double double, which featured Durant and Westbrook in the crowd as well as a 9 year old Trae Young)

But these are really only important to me

Definitely the Bills comeback against the Oilers in the playoffs in 1992. Almost made me a Bills fan. Still can't believe we went all that way for the game and got to see it in person. Definitely one of the things that made me a fan of the NFL.

Andrea Bocelli sings "Nessun Dorma" at KP stadium after Leicester win Premier League title (if that individually doesn't count, then anything to do with said title win)
2005 Champions League final
1999 Champions League final
2005 Ashes series, 3rd test, final day
Wrestlemania 29
2003 Rugby World Cup final
Brazil 1-7 Germany, 2014 World Cup
Steve Redgrave wins gold 5 times in a row (Sydney 2000), which is, in all fairness, absolutely extraordinary
London 2012 in its entirety, specifically either the opening ceremony or the Saturday where GB won 3 athletics gold medals (long jump, heptathlon, 10000m) within an hour

Man idk there's been a lot

15 years later Im STILL convinced the fucking dealer fucked Farha over so damn bad here.

Money maker made it very clear he was raising, no question whatsoever. But because this guy fucked up incredibly so itll and think he wasnt raising it let Moneymaker EMPHATICALLY state instantly no Im raising and then go to his chip pile. And Im sure that stuck with Farha, cause that is off the cuff reaction. And why he truly thought at the end he needed to fold because MM did raise so emphatically earlier, that maybe he already had something well over a pair of 9s

Watching on TV: 2012 US Open Final - having followed Murray his entire career I stayed up into the small hours on Sunday to see him win his slam in 5 sets over Djokovic.

In the stands: Celtic 3-0 Shakhtar Karagandy (3-2 aggregate) - 2013 Champions League playoff - my team qualifies for the biggest club competition in the world from 2-0 down with a 3-0 win including a winner in the last minute. Such an intense match and the crowd was utterly insane.

Esports watching: SKT 3-2 ROX - League of Legends Worlds 2016 Semi-finals - level of play in this series was unbelivable.

I've had a season ticket at Watford for 15 years, that was the only home match I missed that season.
Gutted because it's one of the most hype moments in football ever and a real case of instant karma coz the player who took the penalty dived to win it. Still screamed my ass off at home tho.
