Kaxon and I managed to finish fixing our database issues, so you should see (roughly) updated scores on the website. There are a few things we want to look at vs your manual scores but most things should be ok now...

We still need to fix a few things to automate the daily results and standings update but that's a small things compared to everything else...

Please note that if you did not propose a name for your team, I randomly selected one for you from one of the many random name generators out there...

TRE, I think you'll be able to stop doing all of this manually now... :)

In regards to the situation around POOTERSS. I decided to just remove them from the ranking. Even if POOTERSS was an alt of SuperNiceDog, SuperNiceDog submitted a different, and worse, prediction after the single prediction made under POOTERSS.

Actually I see that quite a few people have different scores so I assume it's the site being glitchy?

Looks like the difference in score happened in the Match 17/18/19/20 cluster. Site and this topic match for Match 16 rankings but have a 7 point variance by Match 20

There was a page that did not run properly....now most everything looks fixed....

We still a few numbers off, I'll have to look at the detail as these are usually new alts that were caught manually by TRE but that the site does not have...

Looks like Steiner is missing 4 predictions for matches 5-8 so maybe that page didn't run correctly either? Or posted them on an alt

Nice! Well, with that done, getting the 2017 contest (and predictions) entered onto the site would probably come next. The 2017 contest was fairly short with only 36 matches, so getting that contest on the site shouldn't take too long. TRE should have all of the predictions from that contest, and I even have all of the Oracle topics from that contest saved to my computer.

The 2013 contest should come last to be entered onto the site, as that one requires a proper implementation of a 3-way format first.

Just a quick note for those interested in the process, here's how the different pieces work :

Predictions
Pages are saved manually, uploaded and processed there "manually" (i.e. you have to run the "prediction" script for each page). There's no manual data entry of any kind but none of it is fully automated...
You can actually see the timestamp of the last post processed on the predictions page (There's a link on the main page of the site, also directly at http://oraclechallenge.com/index.php?file=predictions) where we can figure out that the previous topic is all included but none of the current one is...

Results (GameFAQs results)
There's an automated scraper script that picks up the results automatically (I believe it's 5 minutes after the matches end), that script is why we're seeing results for those matches even though the predictions were not up-to-date

Results (Oracle scores)
This used to be fully dynamic but it was the main reason why the site performance became really horrible. All scores and rankings are now pre-processed and stored through a database script. The scrapper above calls this script after the results are updated. In cases like today (where predictions will be updated after the results), it will need to be launched manually...

so I don't mean to sound ungrateful but are the updated standings going to be posted here or on the site before the next matches start?
