Some things came up so I haven't been able to update the website with update predictions yet. I'm going to look at getting them in soon.

Looks like the predictions are updated but the match updater will need to be rerun to update everyones points. Not sure if it would automatically do it when the matches end or if it only automatically does it for the matches that day.

I assume the script would need to be re-run though

Also there's totally no rush TRE. We all appreciate you running this and just getting to it when you can.

I've updated the predictions. How I don't know how to update old match days so you'll need to wait until I get help for that.

Having a total of 5 Top 5 predictions before the end of Round 1 is very good to see. I generally average 6 Top 5's over the course of a 127 match contest, so I'm on pace to surpass that before Match 127.

On the website archives, if you replace the type with "special" (e.g. http://oraclechallenge.com/archives.php?contest=SC2k18&type=special&match=48 ) you can now see the standings on a points-vs-average basis...

I know it's often requested as a way to compare people who have missed matches so I've thrown something together quickly... I might find a way to make this permanent during the of-season

It's almost impressive that I've managed to get into the Top 10 without registering a Top 5 prediction yet. Although traditionally I don't pick up a lot of Top 5s anyway

What's more impressive is I'm somehow still top 10 too, when I would usually be outside of the top 50 by this stage of a contest. It'll happen still most likely.

It's not setup for 4-ways (and it's not as clean as I want it to be) but for duels it should work properly on the individual match pages now...

Thing is there's nothing stopping people from putting in safeties of whatever for matches without actively thinking about it.

With your idea and how the database works you would have to manually input all those 50% unless someone changed the scoring script or created a new script to make people have default safeties. And it's always been a pain in the ass to get people to change the code because there seems to be very few people capable of doing it and/or it creates problems.

It would also very likely hurt people way more in the team competition than it currently does. You could give people a score similar to the team contest rules if they miss a match but honestly then the penalty for missing a match would be really minor.
