So yeah. I can't really think of many off the top of my head to make a poll. And I really have a taste for pizza since I haven't had any in nearly 6 months or so. But anyways, what would you all recommend? Thef only ones I tried were obviously Degorno which is ok but a lot of bread in that crust.. And red baron is pretty good though too.

You can find them at whole foods and sometimes other places. They use a cornmeal crust and its the only frozen pizza I think is on par with fresher ones

I guess thats true but I ain't tried them all. my walmart carries pizzas I like more though. they aren't frozen but are kept cold. though the quality goes up and down. I actually think the workers in the deli make it themselves.

The only correct answer is "whichever pizza has the thinnest dough".

Freezing pizza causes the dough to form water crystals, so when you microwave it later, it will end up soggy. Compact dough, preferably non-yeast, is the best for keeping it frozen and microwaving a few slices when you feel like it.

my experience with lower quality frozen pizzas is the crust becomes really crisp to the point of being kinda hard. I don't mind soggy crust as much as hard.its been a long long time since i've had a frozen pizza other than digorno's though so memory may be off

Frescetta had a stuffed crust thing once, where it was filled with sauce instead of cheese. And the pizza sauce was spicier than most marinaras. It was pretty amazing, but i never found it again.

like Nacho crunchy Cheetos, Baja Picante flavor Doritos, and Distortion (lime) Mountain Dew it's probably gone forever.

We have HyVees (a grocery store) around here that make fresh uncooked pizzas for sale in the deli; the chicken bacon ranch ones are orgasmic, and the crust is perfect -- like breadsticks almost. But not frozen, so eh.

oh yeah, i forgot about those. The Philly cheesesteak ones are pretty boss, and the only cheesesteak pizza I've ever seen for that matter, but very rich (cream sauce). Great for how cheap they are.

Make your own sauce, freeze it in little baggies.

Buy some good Mozz (it lasts for months).

Buy Yeast and Flour, it lasts forever.

It takes maybe 10 minutes to make your own dough, defrost the sauce (in warm water), and cut the cheese *excuse me!!*.

You then have a far superior pizza then any frozen and you can make it any time.

This is why Tasty and other foodtube channels are awful. They make anybody think they can actually cook.

Everybody thinks that just because something is homemade, it's instantly delicious.

Seems like a lot of work. I'm usually not up for doing all that when I could just oven it and get other stuff done before eating and passing out or whatever... And, tbh, while it might taste ok, it might not be that much better. So, then I feel like I wasted time...

Unless the person making it is horrible at cooking... Then it has the chance of being much, much worse. Though, you seem to not like frozen, anyway. To the people that aren't a food snob(no offense), they would understand that it could turn out much worse than other frozen pizzas...

There is no magic to cooking good meals, just practice pretty much, although other peoples knowledge/recipes etc can sure help. You can slowly build up great meals all on your own though.

And pizza is cake to make (heh..actually easier then cake).

Seriously the hardest part is the dough, which you can actually buy if your really lazy (It just won't last that long so I wouldn't qualify it as frozen....as in you can make it whenever you want).

With the frozen pizza sauce (again you could use a jar of sauce, it just wouldn't be as good, but would STILL be WAY better then frozen), you can put together a delicious pizza in less then 15 minutes (less time then making it from frozen pretty much) at will.

You can flavor the sauce how you like it (red pepper flakes, onions, garlic etc) as well, which adds a ton of flavor to the pizza. You can put your own toppings on which are usually far superior then non-frozen chain pizza, let alone frozen pizza. The cheese is also superior (again to places like Pizza hut/Dominos....let alone frozen). Try eating a slice of that frozen cheese before melting it....yuck.

Pizza is easy, especially if you get yourself a pizza stone. Buy some quality toppings (pepporoni for instance , get the good stuff), and good mozz cheese (and other cheeses if you like). Sprinkle on a bit of parmesian as well (mixed with the mozz etc), and bam....gonna have a hard time finding pizza better that delivers, forget about frozen.

I think I'll stick with frozen and delivery... That seems like all together, it's way more than 15 minutes. Especially if you make that stuff from scratch(Which I probably wouldn't...) and way more work than I would want to put in for food. Most of my recipes don't take that long or have that much stuff, tbh.

Though, I would probably have other problems with that, too. I probably wouldn't make my own pizza for me. That seems like a waste, not to mention, I'm very indecisive when it comes to certain things. I wouldn't be able to decide what I wanted, most likely. But that brings me to making a pizza for more than just myself. If you're making a pizza, you would want it crafted to fit you perfectly. From the type of crust, to the sauce, to the toppings, and everything in between. But that can be hard with multiple people. When ordering or cooking a frozen one, you can just make an easy group decision. But when making a pizza, it's different. You're making it. Which requires work. And can be made to very specific orders. Why should you settle for sauce you only think is ok just because another person likes it? Or settle for a type of crust you don't like? Or for you least favorite cheese? Sure, you can pick the toppings for you slices, but maybe it doesn't matter because you dislike everything else about the pizza...

But those are just some of the other problems. Frozen seems faster and I would get a taste I know I'll enjoy. Where all together, making one seem a good deal longer, and still has the probability of coming out tasting not as good, and I'd probably be tied and not even want to eat it by the time it's done. And maybe have regrets on the type of sauce, or cheese, or toppings, or whatever...

But if people can make their own and enjoy it, good for them...
