Anyway I think it would be cool to try this year. I'm finally getting back into anime. Although I think the original challenge was too daunting. Too many specific rules that made you go hunting for anime, especially the ones like "Watch an anime with someone [director (any), script and/or storyboard] you don't know", which is a dumb one because if this challenge runs for a few more years at the same rate then everyone would be running out of anime that qualify. I'm thinking we can modify the challenge to make it easier and simpler. Ugh, hacking 100 times is going to be an annoying trophy because I don't find it very fun, especially if they only count if you blow up the enemy. Gotta use it though because it just destroys enemies that have HP bars that never drop, like those golden enemies. With the stun chip it feels even more OP. About the ending, it was really unsatisfying that it happened right when things started to get going. Probably intentional to make you immediately jump into the next playthrough, since they clearly tell you there's a lot more to it. I still didn't get what the whole point was and I have no idea if suddenly seeing 2B without the blindfold was supposed to be exciting. As for combat, I stuck with small sword for light weapon and spear for heavy weapon. Tried other stuff, but what I loved about this setup was that following up with a spear attack after a sword combo would track down enemies. I had to use that because it seemed like enemies could too easily get away from your combos. Oh and I only had two pods, which I mostly kept with Spear and Blade by the end of the game. Being using Mirage and Wave on the new playthrough. One flaw however is that combat can easily devolve to just spamming dash attacks. Chise having that minor freakout when Angelica pointed out she was being overly dependent, that was all I ever wanted from her, just some hint of doubt about her situation. She was also really emotive in general this episode, even Elias pointed out that she was making faces he'd never seen before. I'm also curious about what she said regarding her curse being the reason she wasn't frightened when he was in monster form. If her being so instantly accepting of everything is actually a plot point then all of my issues with her will have been resolved. Anyway, now I'm glad I decided to stick with it so thanks everyone.
